DYK Thread for December

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

thermostat wars? That's a good way to describe what happens DAILY at my house. HA!

I like the house between 72-75... our oldest and DH like the house at 70! I swear 70 degrees is FREEZING?!

I forgot about my dual temperature heated blanket. I wonder where it is? Probably in a box in the basement.

Now we have a cashmere blanket and a down comforter on top.

It would be fun, wouldn't it?

Caleb is a video game, star wars, lego junkie. Not much of a sportsman, he tries, but his heart isn't in it.

Yes, that first born holds a special spot, entirely different from the baby but just as special.

I've never been to Vegas, but my DH went for a medical conference last year and I was jealous

I agree it doesn't seem like a place for kids though

I snuggle Matthew and he's my oldest

I'm just one of those mommies that cuddles her kids all the time :)

We're an affectionate family

When did Julian turn 10?

there are lots of things for kids to do during the day in Vegas. Shows and exhibits. I plan to take my kids there next year.

Our friend is a travel agent and she sent me lots of pamphlets of places to take the kids. My son is excited about the HUGE skate park.

Thanks Tracy!

Between football and basketball she cheers from late May until mid December and then has the winter off. Just in time for the Scholastic Bowl (which she wants to do now but can't because of dance) and the girls basketball team....I say she should play, she wants to be the 'manager'.
