That costume is beautiful and the look on Tessa's face is priceless.Gabby used to sleep in costumes like that.Did Tessa dance at all for an audience?Seeing Tessa in that costume really makes me miss my little girl.Gabby is so grown up most of the time.Altough she still has a bubblt personality. Her English teacher told her she had gusto yesterday.

I think Dale was a little disappointed that Gabby hated team sports so much.Although she di play soccer for 4 years,I think kind of to please him,not that her cared that much becasue he would always say as much as I hate to admit it I really think dance is going to be Gab's thing, becasue she just glows when she is on stage, plus it is still ateam effort to learn dances.Gab also would have been good at ice skating, but dance and ice skating lesson are too much $$$$.Gab says she wants to try tennis, but I have a feeling if she isn't one of the best she will hate it.She has three really close friends, ttwo are really into sports, the other does dance and gymnastics.Gabbby is just such a girly girl, the idea of playing soccer in the rain just does not appeal to her. That and the fact that she can get kicked in the face with a shoe,or a ball totally turns her off.Her firs priority would be to protect her face not kick a goal;-)

Michael is kind of known in your community though,so that may be the reason.I am ok posting pics of Gabby here, but I won't let her post pics of herself in aim or My space or facebook, becasue I don't have as much control over it.When she made a you tube video it was of her feet doing point,no face shots, everyone though she was being very artsy;-)

Gabby is too,but in a way that can be a good thing.I never want anyone pushing Gabby around.Although she is mouthier with dh and I than she is with other people and she still manages to speak up fo her self all the time.Gab had a 25/35 on a reading paper,Gabby did not think the grade was fair,so she went up to the teacher and told her answer, certainly were right and she backed up her reasons for answering the questions the way she did.The teacher changes the grade to a 33/35.I never would have done that at her age or probably any age.Plus I know she was polite to the teacher when she did this,so I know she can be a little less mouthy with us.However,I really love that she speaks up for herself all the time, since I am so not taht way.

I wouldn't necessarily say I was a bad kid as a teen either, but I don't want my daughters to be like me

I hated my mom, too

She caused me so much pain :(

I was also a little partier, and never really cared much about my grades until college

It was all about my social life, and especially my boyfriend (now husband)

I drank alcohol, and even smoked some funny stuff; but I never did hard drugs

But I think the worst thing was that I was in a crowd of kids that were considered "popular" and that meant that some of them were pretty witchy and cliquey, and exclusive of other kids

I was never mean to other kids, but some of my friends were, and that makes me ashamed

However, my hubby changed all that about me, because despite the fact that he was popular and cute and smart, he was the nicest guy, and used to get all over me if I ever talked bad about others (And still does, LOL)

Let's hope his influence rubs off on my kids

Well, your kids are very good looking, so your DH must be handsome

All of my kids look more like Michael, too

Matthew is looking more and more like him with each passing year

And Justin looks just like Michael did as a little kid

I think my daughters look more like me than my sons, but even with them, I see some of their father in them

They got his long eyelashes, which is nice, since they're girls

When they don't look like us, we feel like we did all the work and got none of the credit, LOL!

But then I guess, if our husbands are better-looking than we are (In my case), then we're glad for our kids too :)

OMGoodness Sofia, we could be cybertwins!

I was the same way as a teen!

I loved to party and hang out with friends. I drank alcohol and smoked pot.

I missed my family back home (in Indiana) terribly and my mom wasn't sensitive to me AT ALL about it. Back story: she met my stepdad (who was from CA) through a friend who happened to be his cousin. They met and dated while he was in town. They liked each other and then BAM three months later he proposes marriage. That was August. By the end of the year I was packed up and moved to CA to live a man (I had yet to meet) and his 4 kids. Imagine that....

I was totally into my boyfriend (now husband) all 4 years of high school. I met him when I was a freshman. he slowed me down..well he and the kids. LOL

I ditched school every chance I got and barely graduated high school.

Once I got to college, I made straight A's and even made Valedictorian TWICE (bachelor and master)

Thanks, Laura!

Tessa did dance, right beside Jenna, but she would come running over to us every few minutes

At home she will dance all the time

If she wears a dress, she twirls around and watches it, LOL

She is SUCH a girly girl!

She is funny about the ballet outfits

She has a pink ballet skirt that she wears OVER her clothes all the time at home

She comes to the dinner table with it on

It's cute

Well thank you!

I think I have THE cutest kids =)

Their looks always change.

Sometimes I can see myself in them. But I always see DH!

I think DH is GORGEOUS..so I guess I don't mind the kids looking him. Although I did want my daughter to look like me.

She has my shape though.

Tall and thin...poor lad =)

DYK that most of dd's class failed the 2nd. math test? She said she thinks only five kids passed & that was including the girl that passed the 1st time. Dyk that the teacher is going on? I wonder how much that chapter is going to effect everything else they will be learning. Dd said alot of kids did worse than the first test, she did a bit better but still failed it. Somehow this just doesn't seem right.
