Cute.Gabby actually loves Ancient Egypt too. This is actually a semi group project. Each kid had to pick then questions to answer then they put them together in the binder. However they will only be graded on their part of the project so if someone drops the ball,no one has to pick up the slack.Gabby did volunteeer to decorate the binder.

They don't make VHS tapes on any movie Gabby would actually watch. But you can find them at Big LOts.You can also still borrow them from the library.

Wow, that's awesome

I heard Chinese is really hard to learn

Is she in private school? They sure don't offer that in our public schools here

Why Chinese? (I'm just curious)

We had Justin's Parent Teacher Conference last night

His teacher says he is such a funny kid, and so smart, but he is too social and doesn't pay enough attention because he's messing around with his friends

He's doing well academically anyway, though

Tonight we have the girls' kindergarten conference, and Matthew's fifth grade conference

My DH was supposed to work at the Urgent Care Clinic tonight, but he's taking the night off to go to the conferences with me and that makes me VERY HAPPY :)

My DH had a 2 year-old girl come into the ER this morning who swallowed a magnet from a toy

He had to sedate her and stick an endoscope down her esophagus and fish it out of her stomach

He wanted the GI guys to do it, but he didn't want to wait for them, because he didn't want it to pass too far into her small intestine (Then she'd need surgery to get it out), so he wound up doing it himself

It took him several tries to get it, because he kept losing it on the way up, but he was finally successful

Can I just say that I'm glad we are now beyond the age of swallowing stuff that we're not supposed to in this house

Can I just say how GLAD I am that gas prices have come down?

OMG it was ridiculous for a while!!

I can't believe they are finally under $2/gallon

Thank goodness!

OK, you guys are all probably sick of hearing me DYK myself

(That sounded kinky. Sorry! LOL)

I was trying to get my post count higher

I will shut up now ;)
