Gabby was also very social too.Who am I kidding she still is.Howvever she does well in school,so I guess the teachers cope.Although I do know she did not love her teachers too much this year since they are are not as tolerate of the chitter chatter as the 6th grade teachers were.Gabby has a class full of talkers.Last year her teachers loved them this year not so much.Although since the English teacher has a kdg son that gets tlaks too much every day she is cool with it.
At least they knew she swallowed it!Gabby never really put stuff in her mouth, including food,so I did not worry too much about that. Now she did have stiches twice within a two month peroid. Not that she did anything wild she just tripped into the entertaiment center and she fell into our dresser. No exciting cliimbing stories for her.Gab is alway the one that gets hurt no matter what.SHe got whacked in the head with a wiffle ball bat when they were break a pinta.I am just glad it was a wiffle ball bat;-)
Gabby got a call back for the school play.SHe got called back as one of the dancers.SHe goes to the call back on Dec 6.If she does not get a part as a dancer she will probably still be in the play. She is just excited to get called back. The dancers are in a lot of sceens according to Gabby.A few of her friends did not get called back though.I figured Gab would probably get a part that involved dancing.
DYK Rach is in public school not private....my nephew in NJ also is taking Chinese in his public HS, I think he's in his 3rd yr...our public MS is also considering adding Arabic....trying to add more relevant world languages
DYK she had taken an afterschool Chinese class offered in ES which was just for fun not a grade...both DH & I encouraged her to learn Chinese because its a skill we think will be useful in the future when she has to work since the US is doing so much business w/China. Also I'm Chinese & altho DH isn't we feel its good for her to learn about her heritage. Here's a pic of my girls
