Yes! My mom was given the recipe about 10 years ago and it quickly became a family favorite.

i never cried at movies until I had Gabby, after that I cry at the sillies stuff in movies or songs.Gab always makes fun or me.When they sing a song in chorus Gabby always tells me this is one of thoses songs that is going to make all of the parents cry;-).When Gab was in preschool I could not get through the book Love you Forever, without bawling.I also cry at the one song in Mamma Mia(Slipping through my Fingers). Before Gab the only movie I ever cried at was ET.Now I cry at a lot of movies.

Doing laundry as I speak. Load in the washer, load in the dryer, and folded/put away 2-3 loads already.

LOL...how funny about getting to write about caring for shoes instead of an animal.

Has she seen the previews for the new movie about the shopaholic (don't recall the name). The main character writes a newspaper article comparing buying investments to how women buy shoes.

I apologize for not being more active this week. I can't believe my holiday is almost over!!! Only 2 days left before I have to go back to school.

But I have been suffering from a UTI since at least Tuesday, but didn't realize that was what it was until Wed night.

Anybody did any Black Friday shopping? (Not I) ;o)

How's your shopping coming along? I only have 1 gift left to pick out and buy (for my nephew who's in the Mideast), I have one gift on order, and then goodies for gifts, which I won't do until closer to when I will give them out.

No shopping for me.Althogh I may need a new stove(joy). On Thanksgiving day of all days my oven started acting up.It worked fine when I made Cin buns in he am.Then it was niice and hot when I put the turkey in.When I go to check the turkey 3 hrs late my oven is kind of cold. Many hrs later dh jiggled something and the oven seemed to be working(8:30pm),so we had a very late dinner. The turkey did taste great though.DH thinks it may be the theomsta.I am going to try making cookies today and see what the oven does.Dh says the therostat is easy to replace,so we shall see.I love my oven, but it is close to 12 years
