DYK Thread for
October

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

I do think it is the sense of entitalment that bothers me more thatn anything.I try to explain to her there is a HUGe difference between wants and needs,Gabby does not NEED an i-phone she wants an I-phone.HUGE difference.Of course I am the meanest mom in the world because she has the ugliest ,most un cool cell phone ever.Oh well!;-)

well i have found not to give into her. If i stick to my guns then she will eventually get it. And just as long as she is not causing a disturbance Im okay. She started at dinner the other night then i took her into the bathroom and read her the riot act. she changed and went to bed once we got home. For me that was nice.

Gabby tells me the same thing. She is the only one of her friends who has to do any chores. It isn't like she does a lot.She pretty much has to put dirty clothes in the hamper, set the table and clear the table. And that is pretty much it,unless I need something els done. She did weed for my mom without complaint on Saturday though;-)

oh no its two different conversations..... jackie is driving me crazy with her attitude and we are trying to get back to normal since the hurricane. Jackie has been back at school for about a week and half and she is pulling the attitude with me. The hurricane has brought alot to perspective for me. The only thing Jackie got out of it was when she is told to leave she will. Sorry for the confusion.
