DYK Thread for
October

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

DYK:

Good morning! I'm up even tho its my day off since I had to drop Rach off for her 7:20 class at the HS

I'm heating up some ravioli to put in Jamie's lunch thermos...then I'll have DH drop her off at before care at 8:15 or so...haven't had my LC yet but he'll drive by a Starbuck's so he should bring some home

I want to try & go running...then at 1pm I have to drop DH off at the HMO...today is also Open House at the girls schools...may try to stop by if I can fit that in

Have a good day everyone!

dyk Glad to hear that you are doing well in your class, sorry that it's not very exciting though

dyk Kayleigh and I are off to her dermatologist appt this morning

dyk She gave me major attitude yesterday, this is a new thing

dyk I do plan to contact the Italian teacher

dyk I can't understand why a student who gets 90+ in her other academic subjects does poorly in language

dyk Kayleigh was like Jordan, did well with the more structured environment

dyk Ian does better with the wacky, free spirit type of teachers

dyk Knowing how Murphy's law works, I already know who one of his teachers is bound to be next year in middle school

dyk I bet Carys is having a great time at kindy.

hay Mindy

glad to hear about the good grades. Jackie wants to adventure into pep squad.. she wants to be able to try out for cheerleading next year. I have encouraged her to do what she wants. This is the first year she is able to do a sport of any sort so she is wanting to do it all right now. Kind of funny but I fell she missed out when she was little.

Thanks Sandy,

It went well. We ended up with 19 girls showing, so with Alexis 20, which was perfect.

maybe she will enjoy softball better now that she knows she can play well. I hope jackie gets involved with something soon. I know it will change alot of her visits with her father figure but I think she wants that. I dont think she can take much more going over there and cleaning and not being able to do anything with friends or fun. Oh well wine is good I had my fair share on saturday at the festival.....lol
