DYK Thread for
October

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

DYK I almost couldn't get Emily out of school for her orthodontist appointment the other day.

DYK the office carded me---they didn't believe I was her mom.

DYK they said I was her older sister.

DYK I laughed and said thanks but no I am her mom.

DYK they said they needed to check my ID.

DYK WHAT---I HAVE TO DISPLAY AN ID TO PROVE I AM MY CHILD'S MOM.

DYK I know that I should feel flatered but I hear this at least 1x a week===are you her older sister--um no she i smine.

DYK in fact that next day at her volleyball game I had a mom say that--she said are you her older sister and I laughed and said nope she is mine and I though the lady was going to fall off the bleachers.

DYK it was funny at first but now it is getting annoying.

You should be flattered. It is a compliment. Also It is great that yur school actually cards who is picking up the kids.I swear anyone could walk in and get Gabby. When I got her out yesterday,I just signed her out I did not even talk toanyone in the office.Granted the security guard does know I am Gab's mom,but stiill....

wow i do the same..... but then i have to take the covers off of her.... and wait till she gets out of the bed..... up on her feet.... then leave only to come back in five minutes. shes asleep again.....it drives me crazy. it goes on for about twenty minutes. we have to leave by 6:50 for breakfast (treat for getting up) or by 7:15 to be ontime for school.

At our school if we don't know who you are, you need to provide identification and be on the release form.
