DYK Thread for
September

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

oh, I bet they are crowded right now! Gas is just ridiculous!

and I HATE..DESPISE traffic.

Ugh, I got caught in it 3 times since yesterday. Hurricane-related, though...yesterday, I got stuck in the line of all the people getting tarps, MREs, ice, & waters. This morning, I thought it was an accident and turned around as quickly as I could, but it was traffic for emergency food stamps (I caught it on the other end, but I wasn't stuck, thank goodness). Then, this afternoon, in order to AVOID the food stamp traffic (it was going on until 6pm), I go the VERY LONG way home and end up stuck in between a dozen huge military vehicles filled with troops.

Can't win for losing!

it is so funny how different allergy meds work on different people.

Claritin works for me. But not for Mike or Aly. They can both take Alavert, but that does nothing for me. Zyrtec gave me nightmares and I won't take that again!

Aly's not committed enough to shave. But the kids she is in school with start shaving in 4th & 5th grade, so I didn't want her to be the only one--she has HAIRY legs.

I hardly ever have to shave (once every 2 months or so)--she didn't get my leg hair.
