DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Stay safe.Flooding can be a real pain too.The last time we had flooding from a hurricane we were with out natural gas for 3 days,so no cooking or hot water. At least we did not need it for heat. Are your kids off of school?Do yu have to deal with tornado warnings too?Do you have a generator?

So do we,but I think it depends on the teacher.Gabby's 5th grade LA teacher did not do book orders. Her 6th grade La teacher did.Her 7th grade English teacher also does them. However, not that many kids seem to order books though.

dyk- when my 7th grader was in 6th grade I never NOT EVEN ONCE saw a book order form?

dyk- I know they get them at the school?

dyk- I guess it's up to the teacher?

dyk- If I were a LA teacher I'd do it? Don't you get books for your classroom as kickback for ordering?

dyk- I love the bookorder forms?

dyk- I used to order EVERY time they came home when the kids brought them home?

dyk- If I go home to get my lunch I'll not want to come back to work!?
