OT- Football, anyone?

Anyone else a football fan? It's totally opposite in this household- the wife (me) is the HUGE football fan and the DH could care less. My two boys are not athletically inclined enough to play it but they do enjoy watching some of the games with me. I'm so bummed that the season is almost over and even more bummed that my beloved New Orleans Saints were eliminated a couple of weeks ago. And let's not even talk about the BCS National Championship Game that LSU was in. :smileysurprised:

If you're a fan, whose your favorite team? Did you watch any of the games this weekend? The game between the Giants and 49ers was a serious nailbiter !!! I guess I'll be pulling for the Giants in the Superbowl since the Manning Family is from New Orleans and it's a closer connection than anything I have with the Patriots (which is like, nothing. Sorry Patriot fans, lol)

I was hoping for a Ravens/Giants matchup. I thought it was pretty interesting that both games were decided by the kicker. One ends up a hero and the other is a dog. LOL Poor guy! I didn't think any of the teams looked like Super Bowl contenders, so I hope they get it together in the next couple of weeks. But, I guess even if the game ends up a dud, we'll hope for really good Super Bowl commercials. ;)

I'm normally a lurker but couldn't reist saying GO PATS! We WILL win the re-match (Super Bowl 2007) aginst the Giants this time.

I was really hoping for a Patriots/49'ers Superbowl. We are big football fans in our house, and most of the regulars know I am a HUGE Detroit Lions fan! I was at a cheer competition for the oldest DD yesterday, so I missed all of the games, and was very sad about it (though it was a fun day).
