Hugs to Emily and the other girls, I'm sorry it wasn't their night but what an incredible season they had!

My two comments: I am sorry and YIKES!

Bummer about the score but sounds like the girls gave it their all and played great but unfortunately just matched up against tough team. It would be cool to say that your loss was to the State Champs though!

The EI asthma. I have that and no way can I do any exercise without using my inhaler first. Also have treated lots o' kids with asthma. Can be extremely dangerous. Has Emily been instructed to use her inhaler 10-15 minutes before exercise. We had a gal which fairly severe IEA on our XC team last year-never would use it before she ran and I would have to be there at the finish line to pick her up most races-ARG!! I finally got her convinced that using her inhaler BEFORE running would be beneficial!! I don't think a lot of people understand that it can be deadly.
So glad that you found an inhaler for her to use. Maybe that episode with help her and teammates remembered to make sure she has and uses her inhaler prior to games/practice.
As if Momma's adrenaline was flowing enough from the stress of the game itself!!

What a great season for your girl and teammates-Way to Go!!!

What a trooper your Em is! Sounds like a great season even though they didn't make it all the way.

Isn't it weird the way different areas of the country play sports at different times? Basketball practies are just starting here. Quinn had his 1st one on Tues. night.

Congrats to Em & her team for a great season but all good things must come to an end right? C'est la vie! And I'm glad Em was ok -- sounds like guarding the other team's center was high stress if her asthma was triggered. Funny how kids are intimidated so easily, I noticed this on Rach's team too. Sometimes I think its better just to tell the kids to go out there & play their best rather than scare them like that, LOL.

Bummer. Sounds like they did a great job despite the odds. That must have been very scary to see Em struggling so. I don't think kids realize how dangerous that can be. Kids actually die from that. So thankfully you found an inhaler and she was okay. I hope they are proud of themselves anyway despite the loss.

How scary for you and Emily. What a tough cookie you have there.

Sorry about the game too. I bet it was exciting to watch. I was thinking of you guys last night. :)

Lots of big hugs to Emily for a job well done! The most important thing is she and her team gave it their all and had a good time! What a scare with the asthma though! I'm glad you guys acted quickly and helped her! She's a trooper and very determined and active like her mama!
