Do any of you find that your children are little lazy when it comes to their personal Hygiene. By lazy I mean I sometimes have to remind my daughter to brush her teeth in the morning. For me this is the first thing I do, she will want to eat breakfast and then wash up. I find this very disgusting and while I remind her in a nice way it is still gross no matter how you slice and dice it.
She loves showering and smelling pretty but I have to remind her all the time about putting on her deodrant. Does anyone here have these issues with their kids?

I don't know how close you are to your niece and her friends, but sometimes if a friend's parent says something about smell or anything it makes all the difference.

Alysha, you are like me - the first thing I do when I get out of bed is brush my teeth!

Oh I can't stand that stuff. My son got some Axe for Christmas as part of a gift basket. He used it once and I made him re-shower an hour later using regular old Ivory soap. Couldn't stand to even be in the same room with him. I tossed out the Axe and had to tell him that he wasn't never to use it in my home. To me he didn't smell clean like he does with soap. While the sent was pleasent enough in the bottle, I found the smell offensive when it was all I could smell each time my son walked by me.
