polling place? If so, do you worry about their safety with so many adults going in and out of the building on election days? Just curious... Both my kids' schools are and someone was circulating a petition to have the schools closed (but staff there, like professional development or inservice). On election days. What are your thoughts?

The kids school is a polling place and it is closed, as it should be.

Sherina's school isn't one; but if it were, you'd have to go straight into the polling area, sign in, vote & leave.
Thanks to Kelly (mom2emsopmax) for my beautiful siggy! Photobucket

My kids don't attend a public school, but all the voting happens at public elementary schools.

Yes, but our county closes school on election days to avoid this issue.
