Sebastian decided he wanted to go punk.. which I'm ok with.. I figure as long as he keeps behaving, keeps good grades and doing is volunteer work then I can't complain to much. Sebastian is still playing soccer, taking piano lessons and now is riding a skate board. So last week we shaved his hair in a Mohawk and dyed the tips red. (I helped..lol) He doesn't put it up in spikes, so it really doesn't look to bad. I have told him it is ok if he wears the leather stubbed bracelets, etc as longs as it stays mild. Which he is.

What do you guys think?

I think that the best time to be "colorful" is when we are kids.

When your an adult, it seems that one conforms. This is sad.

I love individuality. Let the kids express themselves!

I agree. with it being summer, if 1 of the boys wanted to take thier own style in a different direction I dont see anything worng with it. As long as it isnt causing them any trouble at school, I wouldnt mind then either.

He is expressing himself and that is fine--underneath all that color and "punkness" is still a good kid!

Good kids should be given a little latitude when it comes to appearance, as long as the attitude doesn't slip.
