What are your online rules for them? she isn't much into 'surfing' and goes online specifically to chat on AIM, go on webkins or watch music videos (with my approval)

Are they allowed to instant messange? yes, she's allowed on AIM.

What about have a Myspace type page? No and she hasn't even brought it up.

How old is your child?

My twins are 13.

What are your online rules for them?

No chat rooms (they're not interested anyhow), no correspondence of any sort with strangers or other kids that aren't among their close group of friends.

Are they allowed to instant messange?

Yes, with close friends that they actually hang around with.

What about have a Myspace type page?

Yes, and they only add close friends that they actually hang around with.

How old is your child?

She will be 13 in May.

What are your online rules for them?

No real rules. She knows things like no porn or gambling, but there are no specific rules regarding time or the type of sites she can visit (outside of the obvious).

Are they allowed to instant messange?

Yes, that seems to be her lifeline.

What about have a Myspace type page?

No, she's not allowed to do that. Technically kids her age are not allowed on MySpace or Facebook I think. She has developed her own webpage but it has nothing personal and she only shares it with people she knows.

We have content protect and it does slow the computer but that is because it is doing a thorough search on each site you go to----a tip we use---we disable it when DH or I are on the computer.
