I read the article, and yes, my family is doing a lot of what was mentioned.
1. I am constantly reminding the kids to turn off the lights...we have a big house and my energy bill is very high right now. 2. We switched a lot of our bulbs to the energy efficient ones. 3. I carpool to and from school. 4. We recycle cans, bottles and newspapers. 5. I donate a lot of things to Goodwill instead of throwing it away. 6. And I encourage shorter showers. My kids are in it way too long! 7. My DD's CJSF group cleaned up a beach a few weeks ago. She had a great time.
I haven't bought the environmentally friendly soaps and such because they are pricey. So, I think we are green, but not as green as some people might be.
