Definitely not. Alex loves to wear track pants. Not fashionable but they are comfy. I do have a standard for church attire or formal occasions, like no track pants, but that is about it. They all have their own style and wear what they want.

I like my kids to be who they are. Both of my boys have totally different styles. They both have different interests, friends and hobbies. I do tend to buy the kind of things the boys want to wear, only because I never got the things I wanted as a kid, but I do buy in moderation.

I do not have to have the "perfect" child, people make mistakes and they also learn from them..i do not tell them who they can be friends with but i would hope its not the wrong crowd, then i would step in..he picks out his own clothes, has his own tastes , does his own hair, etc...none of it bothers me because he is his own person and hes

I was a "perfect child" growing up- on the outside. On the inside, I felt like a hurricane. My mother put a lot of preasure on me, as did my friends (I hung out with the in-crowd). I've worked hard to avoid that with my kids. All are doing great at school, and seem to be pretty socially active as well. I don't put much pressure on them but I do set limits and help them make goals for themselves. As for clothes, I buy them pretty much what they want, as long as it's not too reavealing or outrageously expensive. I guess you could say I'm pretty laid-back about them.

We are not perfect here for sure. There is just too many kids for designer labels here. I am also very cheap! I shop at Ross and Target. My oldest Kiana loves that rip off store Limited Too and I refuse to buy her anything from there, so I say you want something from there save your money or ask for a gift card for your bday or christmas. The twins Vanessa & Jazmine who will be 10 in Jan don't care so much about fashion like Kiana. I know I don't wear expensive brands. I mostly shop at Old Navy and Target, and of course Ross for myself.

Rip off, funny you should say that. My dh says that all the time. Now my tween says it.
I love old navy. It's not a cheap store. Well, I guess compared to the others.
