Today we had to put down our dog. He would have turned 11 February 1st. He unexpectedly got very ill really quickly. The vet thinks he probably had some sort of cancer. He suddendly started spitting up blood and he was falling over when he got up and he stopped eating. This all happened in the last couple of days. Today he cried the entire 6 hours he was at the vet, he wouldn't lift his head but he continued to wag his tail. He was always such a happy little dog.
Our YDD has probably taken it the hardest. We got him when she was 15 months old. He slept with her and she really babied him. I hope she is going to be ok. The girls went with us when we took him to be out down. It was very peaceful and i know it was the right decision but it was still very, very hard. He was in so much pain....poor Buddy. Rip in peace little guy.
