Aly started her wish list. Now, hers is for birthday and Christmas.

I've already bought for her (that she knows about):
Monsterology
2 Nancy Drew computer games (they were $10 each, so a really good deal)

Other things on her wish list:
Twilight calendar (bought for her)
Wii Endless Ocean
Wii Disney Sing-It!
Kit DVD (American Girl)
the Twilight buttons from Borders
Monopoly Here & Now

seems like there was something else on her wish list that I already bought for her, but I can't remember right now.

I won't buy her clothes without her being with me and okaying them (other than the PJs I picked out for Christmas..an annual tradition).

We bought Aly HSM on Ice tickets last year for Christmas. I'm thinking of buying her Wizard of Oz tix this year (it's the Broadway touring production, I think).

I would've loved in the past for family members to have bought her things like movie tix, annual pass to the zoo, magazine subscriptions, but nobody ever wanted to...they always wanted to give her something tangible that she could play with right there.

So now, while I would love to get that for nieces & nephews, I have a feeling they wouldn't appreciate it simply because they wouldn't have done it for Aly.

Here's Abigail (13)'s list:

Chanel #5 perfume, gold nail polish, cloth handkerchiefs, a set of acrylic paints and good brushes, high-heeled Mary Janes in a bright color (!!), a small purse (no logos and cannot be pink!), a shawl, a wristwatch, marzipan, a squishy old chair for my room, a tea table for my room (for homework), fiddle lessons, and a castle in Ireland to go with the villa in Italy and chateau in France you got me last year (family joke)

Will (11) wants:

Insurrection (Star Trek movie), Tactical Assault (game for his DS), more "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books, tiramisu for Christmas dessert (yuk--Mom hates!), a trombone stand, the Kingdom Keepers books, the Seekers books, nerf guns, Star Trek micro machines, Star Trek:TNG seasons 2, 4, and 5 (we own the others); Dunkin Donuts gift cards (LOL!), some type of gaming system (used ones are okay, Mom!), a box of Berry Lucky Charms

If anyone can use these lists for their kids, go to it!

Gab will get the Ipod touch, but she certainly won't be getting an I-phone anytime soon.I kind of think it is crazy to spend that much on a phone for a 12 year old. They tend to be a little careless and forgetful with phones.Gab is ok,but she still is not getting an i-phone.She is stuck with her cheapy phone.I do let her text at least! But that is only becasue I can "yell"at her when I txt and she gets sick of arguing back and forth if she is not talking;-)

I actually went with books & pjs for the little ones.

I'm thinking about my teen nephew now though. I'll have to ask for suggestions for teen boy mags (not Playboy!!).
