This isn't for a tween though, so stretch your memories here!

We're at that inbetween stage now. She really is a size 6 kids, but very few stores carry it. We have a store called the Shoe Company which SOMETIMES carries a few, but not regularly. She is in a 5 ladies but that is hard to find as well, or they are 4 inch spike heels (which she would loooooove by the way LOL). I don't know the answer. That awkward stage for shoes and clothes is tough. Hopefully some others will have some ideas for you.

I don't know if you can use this bit of info...
Sometimes www.finishline.com (go to the outlet section) has great deals on sneakers. I've bought 2 pairs of New Balance from them. One pair was $20 something & the other was close to $30. I know what size I wear in New Balance...so both fit just fine.

Do you guys have a Hushpuppy store in your area? Ours is at the local mall.

My daughter also wears shoes most of the time. I have a Marshalls near us with a HUGE shoe department, and we have had good luck there. While I really dislike Kohls for girls clothes, we were able to find some decent shoes.

We've been there too. It's tough, I know. IF you're near any outlet malls, we've had really good luck at Bass Shoe. They carry boots, docksiders (remember them? They're back, really popular around here) and regular dress shoes, but with the thin adult looking 4" heel. Not sure if they sell online, but everything is at the factory and all at discount prices too!
