Step it up 2 Movie

This Friday night my 11 1/2 yr. old Emily's soccer team is seeing this movie. I watched the trailer and I don't really care for the suggestive dance moves and some sexual comments.
My older DD takes hip hop, and they both want to see this movie. One mom says it's fine, her DD saw it. I tend to be conservative, however, I may not have a choice because her dad might let her go.
Have you seen this movie? What do you think?? It's PG-13.

Im with you. Jackie does not care to see it though. I agree with some of the dance moves, a little too much for my dd and my taste. Good luck i know about the "dad letting her anyway" thing. Just remind her its a movie and you dont want it repeated. Good luck

Kim, I have not seen the movie so I don't have any feedback.

Thanks, that helps. Now they've decided to go to the arcade instead, because some of us didn't like this movie.

Emily is dying to see this movie--she loved the first one. The danceing doesn't bother me so I will let her see it when it comes out.

Daisy and a friend tried to see it the night it opened but it was sold out. She hasn't asked about it since. I have no problem with her seeing it.

Kristen would like to see it. I would take her but she hasn't pushed as she hasn't seen number 1. She is almost 13 though so not sure if that makes a difference. It can't be any worse than the Bring it On movies or even Dirty Dancing which she's seen. And Grease and a few others. She watches it for the dancing/cheering and kind of ignores the other parts.
