Stuff that made me laugh this week--brag

I've been cracking up all week over something my son said on Monday, so I thought I'd share it here just in case you have a similarly whacked sense of humor.
He missed the bus (for the first time EVER!), so I had to drive him, which threw off my schedule. I was chewing him out (not very gracious of me) and he interrupted me with this: "Mom, let's suppose my ear got cut off and the doctors accidentally sewed it back on upside down. How would that affect my hearing? Would the high notes sound low or vice versa? I'm asking this because you nearly ripped my ear off when you slammed the car door."
Anybody else have a funny story about their kid?

LOL! That is funny.
I don't have a funny story off the top of my head. I'll be back if I think of one.

Oh that is funny!
My story most may not find funny but DH adn I about died laughing!
So we were discussing with Emily (14) about possibly DH taking a transfer to India and we were telling her that we would have a maid, 2 drivers, gardner and 2 full time guards round the clock and she sat there for a second and said---"Oh crap, with guards that would mean no more sneaking out" and then she sat another minute and said..." well since it is such a poor country, maybe I could offer them $5 or some cookies to not tell on me"

That is cute!Dale was in India for 2 weeks for work back when Gabby was a baby. When he came home he was ill for so long becaus eof something her ate.
I think I'd make Dale go without me if it were a country like that.He had to ge so many shots before he even went to the country. Then I was parnoid that he could somehow pass colera and maleria on to Gabby who was only a year old at the time.
I would guess if your dh did ake a jobe there the pay would be good and he would not have to pay taxes. Not sure I'd want to live there though .
Plus I doubt Em would want to sneak out there;-).Its not like sneaking out to the mall or some place fun!

LOL! Unfortunately, her bribe would probably work, so watch it if you move there! DH loves India. He travels there for work (doesn't bring us, though!) and says he would not mind living there for a few years.
What a great opportunity for your family.
