Another post on brand name clothing got me interested in what stores your pre-teens are shopping at. Caitie still shops at Lasenza Girl, Northern Getaway, Jacob Junior, etc. which is for girls about age 6-11ish. A lot of the girls in her class are now shopping at the teen stores- American Eagle, Garage (we are in Canada and don't have Abercrombie, Aeropostle, etc., but those types of stores).

So I was just wondering where your teen likes to shop, and if they do shop in the teen stores, when did they make that transition?

I still think Caitie might be a bit small to shop there, but maybe I could go with her and get an XS t-shirt or something...

My boys favorite is Finishline and Footlocker. Ds-9 likes the stuff at Kohl's because they have Hawk clothes. The youngest doesn't really get into certain stores yet, but my oldest refuses to go into the reg. teen stores like Abercrombie, Hollister, A.E. etc. He really dislikes those clothes/stores.

Hannah just started last year (I guess at xmas, when she was 11) being interested in WHERE she gets her clothes. She likes Aeropastle and American Eagle. She won't go into Hollister or Abercrombie. But, she still likes to go to Kohl's, Penney's, etc.
