Terms of Service Reminder

I want to remind everyone of iVillage's Terms of Service, which all members agree to when signing up. I want to especially point out the section on Content of Messages which includes the following statement: "You further agree that you will not use the iVillage Network to send emails or instant messages or post on message boards, blogs, profiles, comments or any place on the iVillage Network, any message or material of any kind or nature that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, profane, (unless within the scope of the topic area of a message board as determined by iVillage in its sole discretion), racially offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable material or that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation, or encourage the use of controlled substances."

Please remember to be considerate of others while posting, keeping in mind that posts that are harassing are not tolerated. If you encounter a post that you feel violates these Terms of Service, please use the Report a Violation link at the bottom of the message. The best course of action is then to ignore the post, not respond in kind.

Thank you.

A good reminder for all of us. Especially the part about not responding to posts obviously trying to stir up controversy and arguments.
