I am thankful for Advil and ice in my home. Goodness, I couldn't imagine having to wait for the ice man to be going down our street!
I am also thankful that DH agreed to put up lights this year. It feels weird to be in a different home at the holidays (we don't normally do lights due to a fall/jump off the roof many years ago) and lights make it festive.
I am thankful that Zeph has been working dilligently with schoolwork so he can have a winter break, because I want one too.
I will say that i am thankful, like Mindy, for paid time off. I will not have to "take" any vacation time to have the entire week off of christmas to have the holidays in Michigan.

That is definitely a plus Mindy!!
I am thankful that I have plentiful sick leave!
