Jackie passed elementary......... oh my. what am i going to do now??? she is beginning to talk back and get very sassy........ I can ignore it most of the time...... but she can get on my nerves........ other than that i suspose im doing okay.......... i do need an extra oven any one have one i can borrow???? 300 cupcakes is alot to bake...........lol
Well, I posted about my DD who is really trying my nerves. (Read my other post for all the details) I'm tired of my ex thinking he's above the law. I'm going to make some 8th grade graduation announcements online even though she said not to. This morning she seemed to like the idea a little more. I'm hoping my headache will go away. I have pain still from a migraine the other day.
My DH and I sometimes don't see each other often because of our work schedules, so sometimes we just have to play hookey from work to deal with teenager issues at home. It helps to show a united front! can your DH "call in sick?" It's hard when you could use some help. Hang in there!
AAAACCCCKKKKK!!!! I've been venting in the chit-chat threads so I'll keep it brief but the scheduling b.s. is really starting to get to me. It seems that all of the kids activities have some sort of big deal this week - concerts, review boards, recitals, meets, etc. and dh is out of town for what was supposed to be two days but turned into three! It's really stressing me out. Usually, I dread summer because I fight with the kids about the computer and tv every day. Yes, we set up rules but enforcing them is so emotionally draining. Anyway, I'm at the point where I don't care about that. I just want school to end!
Vent #2... $$$ yes, dh is at least getting paid regularly now but it's still about 2/3 of what it was when he started this stupid job. I honestly believe in what they're doing long term but right now it's just plain painful! We've already tapped out our IRAs and paid big time penalties for that. I just don't know how much longer I can take this!!!!
Brag #1... Evan asked all his teachers about his grades this week and he's getting straight A's. Yes, taking away the ipod has made him incredibly angry and he even wrote a persuasive essay about it for school. LOL! It seems to have done the trick! :)
Brag #2... All the 5th grade band & orchestra kids performed Tuesday night and they did a great job. The final piece was America the Beautiful and it truly was beautiful. I was so proud of all of them. Evan has really improved his cello playing in the last several months and he is sounding really good for having played for only 6 months and no private lessons. He's done it all himself too! I haven't told him to practice ONCE!
Brag #3... Megan had a piano recital Saturday and played beautifully!!! She was all by herself on this massive stage in what used to be a huge church sanctuary. Her notes were all correct, her musicality was fabulous, and she did everything her teacher told her to with poise and confidence!!!
Pre-brag... Tonight Evan has a Board of Review for his next Boy Scout rank. The Scoutmaster said he did really well at his conference so I'm sure he'll do fine. Assuming he does, 2 ranks down, 4 'til Eagle. He's got his sights set on Eagle too. I am sooo proud of that!
yes see that does not really help............lol I thought i might go and get a portable one just for the sake of having it. But is my oven going to get a huge workout........ it will think its died and gone to heaven........lol Thanks for the offer though.

Good morning, let's see, I'll start with a brag.

Hang in there!
Okay, I'm copying this vent from another post:
All of a sudden, Mr. Out-of-the-loop (my supervisor)
