Not really too many rants (except the rain, blah) but I am stressing over this whole car thing. I need a new car and I have no idea what I want. I am trying to decide between the Toyota Corolla, the Ford Focus and the Kia Rio. I would like the Toyota but it will be the most expensive of the three and I'm really not in a place for about another 14 months to take on too much of a car payment. But I can get 0% financing on the other two. Sigh. I haven't even gone out and talked to any dealers yet as I HATE that whole car negotiating thing, I get intimidated and am avoiding it. I know they try to phone you, convince you, etc. That makes me nuts. I just want you to give me a bottom line and I'll tell you whether someone beat it or not. Blah. Okay, this is a rant. LOL Guess I have to focus on this soon before my current piece of crap completely dies. If anyone knows anything about Kias or has an opinion I'd like to hear it. I haven't heard anything bad and I know Toyotas are amazing and I had a Ford for 10 years and it was good until now (but after 10 years its bound to start dying).
(((Tracy))) I wish I lived close to you. I'd come over and take that sweet Emma for a day. Can you send Emma to a sitter on a weekend? I think it's really important to have, "me" time.
(((Mindy))) Can you get on the sub list now? Sorry your summer is starting out a little stressful. Sending you some relaxing vibes from Washington State.
Tam we were just out looking at Honda's. The Fit was a real nice car at a very good price. We decided against buying right now only because both cars are paid for & the milage we put on isn't worth the car payment. Just about everywhere we go is within a 5-10 mile radius of our house. We thought we would wait till either the Ford which is 3 yrs. old dies or the Chrysler which is 8 yrs. old.
My dh really liked the Fit & my ds who deals w/cars all day said you can't kill a Honda. No he isn't a car saleman he owns a repo company.
Good luck, I know what pains those salesman can be & things are tight for them right now so I expect the pressure is on.
Sure, I'll rant, I'm good at ranting. So it's finally summer vacation.
