1) Do you watch/read the news?

2) What topic are you so over? (tired of hearing about)

3) What topic are you following closely and can't get enough of?

The Host is also young adult?

I am on the last book of the Twilight series.

I thought The Host was adult fiction also,at least that is where it is located in our Barnes and Noble and Borders. The Twilight seris is in the Young Adult section.Gabby isn't of fan of the series-too much romance for her still. Most of her friends love them though.

We had curriculum night last night and Isaiah's LA teacher said that she only reads young adult fiction. I thought of you! She is my kind of teacher. She loves to read and its her goal to make lifelong readers of her students. Sometimes all it takes is another person's passion to ignite you...and off you go! I am hoping that she rubs off on Isaiah. =)

Aly read the whole thing (Twilight), but she didn't like it like I did, BECAUSE of the romance. I fell in love with Edward (except for the fact that he was a vampire....LOL). I would just put the book down & gush as I was reading it. And I told a friend that if Aly reads this book, she will have high standards for a boyfriend (minus the vampire part...lol). She did NOT fall in love with Edward the way I did! Oh well!

I can't say that (at the fourth book) I'm still in love with him...not even in the second book. The books are ALL written so differently. But I do plan to read the first book again before seeing the movie (which looks "off" to me...previews don't seem to match the feel).

But she hasn't picked up the second book yet, and I know SHE will prefer that one to the first one because it's more about the "monsters" than about the romance.

LOL...I was too embarrassed to mention that I have been staying up until midnightish because I can't stop reading.

Don't know if I'll stay up tonight, but I will finish the 4th book this weekend. I have about 300 pages to go (I think?).

It IS a quick read being young adult (even though it is so thick), and being so intriguing, it makes it even quicker. I just started reading the series 2 weeks ago today.

Is there an iV board for this series like Harry Potter? I can't imagine the series having the lasting power of Harry Potter (which is about to have a theme park area at IOA), but it'd be cool to have one now.
