The question is did I ever not do something stupid as a teen? lol I was the last of 4 and I was 10 years younger than my oldest sister. I think my parents were just worn out on parenting. I had no curfew, barely any supervision, etc. I was in general a good kid, but I'd kill my kids if they did stuff I did. I hate to admit, I drank in high school and even drove home occasionally. I'd do the old I'm staying at my friends house, she would say the same and we'd be out all night.

I lived in the same area as Bruce Springsteen. My friend and I attempted to get on the property by pretending to have the wrong address. We got busted by the security guards but he let us walk around the place with him.

So many dumb things, so little time to share - lol.

sounds like some things i did. I was the only girl in my family. My parents were strict. But I would sneak out of the house (we have an alarm now) I too would stay out all night. I went to concerts my parents would not allow me to go to. I slept out in the parking lot to get front row seats to one. The list goes on....... but I am wiser now and know better. I plan on going with Jackie...LOL

When I was 16, I snuck out of the house, met up with a bunch of boys, got in the car with a drunk driver and then got in a car accident.

I did so many stupid things, but the one that some to mind right now was doing the Bop as we called it in my friends car. We would drive the car down the street and put the car in neutral while it was moving to make it jerk. Sometimes there would be someone sitting on the hood of the car when we did it. It was SO STUPID and destroyed a perfectly good car as well.

Of course. Had a couple boyfriends way too young. Ignored my friends because of the boys.
I do not want my girls repeating my same mistakes and will do anything to prevent it!

You know what? I have been sitting here all morning trying to think of something bad that I did as a teen, and honestly I can't think of one thing! I was living with my Grandparents at the time and they were very strict. I got to go out and do things and had anything I ever wanted, but I just knew better than to act out. KWIM?

Well, I drank in highschool and even drove drunk or drove with drunk drivers. To be honest that wasn't considered that big of a deal back then. Stupid yes, but it was the culture of the time. Also, our legal age for drinking was 18, so drinking at 17 is a bit like a 20 year old in the US. Once in awhile in Grade 12 if we had no classes we'd get a 6 pack and go to the park and sit and talk and have a beer, but just one, not 5.

I never did anything I consider really stupid otherwise though. I had lots of freedom. I had a girlfriend in Grade 12 who's Mom let her get an apartment in town with another girl (we lived on a farm) and I used to spend weekends there. It was always a party and we drank but nothing wild and crazy. No one ever throwing up or passing out that I remember.

Drinking in high school was a big thing...we used to all go to the parking lot behind the football stadium. I swear there had to be guys who were 21 around there somewhere by the amount of alchol we had! We'd be toasted and going back to class...I don't remember much about Biology in 10th grade!

My Senior year I was a Girl Scout Camp Counselor and during the school year they'd have camp sessions 6 times a year, three in the fall and three in the spring. It was a 2 hour drive that I made myself. I never realized my mom called the camp to make sure I'd arrived. One weekend I decided to leave on friday, hook up with my boyfriend who was camping/fishing at the lake my camp was on for friday night and just show up saturday morning...no one would be the wiser, right? Well my dad spent the whole night riding up and down the highway in a sheriff's car looking for me! When I popped into camp the next day like nothing had happened they met me at the office and just told me to call home...the tears on my dad's face is something I'll remember the rest of my life!

And yes, I was a sneaker...we already have an alarm system on our house to make sure that doesn't happen around here! HAHA!!

I backed out of my friend's driveway and right into the car of a supreme court justice; the joys of living in the nation's capital. As it turned out he wasn't the most honest judge in the world and took my insurance to the cleaners big time,
