Good morning ladies, its Thursday, how are you doing?
I am so happy DH is home! The bed was a bit crowded though! This morning he did all the bending chores- feeding the animals, cleaning muddy paws, vacumming, and poop scooping. I wish our backyard would freeze. The garden and back areas are a muddy mess and that's where they love to play. Frodo's little feet don't seem to get as dirty as Buffy's big hound feet.
DH has a meeting this morning, but should be back by early afternoon. I'm hoping he has time to run to the bank and the post office-needs to ship his parents' presents. I've got laundry and dishes calling my name. Buffy is going to the pet sitters for the next few days. Frodo is fine in his crate for a few hours here and there, but she is not--yet! We have plans to be here and there the next few days and she'll have a great time! Tonight we are going to see Annie. We're all looking forward to it.
I have a few projects to work on at work today, I was late, it took me 2 hours to get to work this morning! I have a meeting at 1:30 to attend. I probably will not run errands at lunch, but I really need to, I am running out of time to get a few things done this week and I have lunch plans tomorrow. Maybe I can run some errands after work if DH is done with service calls and can snatch Emma for me. I can take Madison with me, not a problem. It might be nice for Emma and DH to have a bit of one on one time together since he's leaving Saturday for Michigan (with Madison) and it will be over a week later until Emma and Jordyn and I meet up with them. I have a bunch of paperwork and laundry and now packing to do tonight. I can't believe its thursday already, it seems like this week, after the last 2 weeks, has just flown right by!
Not sure what's for dinner, probably left overs again. Have a great one!
Hi everyone, yippee for Thursday. It was a pretty smooth day at work even though we were short a staff member in my room. I went in early to help wrap gifts for our Love Connection program. After work I ran a couple of errands, exercised, baked cupcakes for a 4H event tomorrow night and now I'm making broccoli cheese soup for dinner, which we'll have with biscuits
Ian had a regular school day and he seems to have a lot of homework tonight. Kayleigh had school and should be home soon from volunteering at the art center.
Tonight, Dh is going to an event with a group that he volunteers with. I plan to relax, watch tv, have a glass of wine, maybe write a couple of Christmas cards.

Hello there. It was a good morning. Natalie had another great morning. The promise of muffins got her out of bed. Sounds like she might be getting the crud that Katie had last week. After getting the kids off to school I bought groceries. Tim came home and took me to lunch. I went to a few stores and did some stocking stuffer shopping. Found some great stuff for the girls. Tim and Matthew are harder. I shopped right up to time to pick the girls up from school. Picked Matthew up and bought them a soda before we went home. We met Tim for dinner and then he took two kids home and Katie and I went to get her a friend a gift and hopefully find a clear cover since the one I ordered the day after Thanksgiving has never showed up. I keep trying to find out where it is and I am getting no where. After her and I got home Nat and I ran to Walmart to get her a sweatshirt. My foot is so achy and sore. I will probably pay for today tomorrow. Homework is all done and we are watching a Christmas movie. I bought the new Ice Age dvd today and Katie is upstairs watching it. We'll have a movie night tomorrow night and watch it all together.
Dinner was Zaxby's tonight.
So the cat didn't make it for Kristen's return- we lost her Weds night. And let me tell you- them going when they're at home isn't any easier than taking the animal to the vet and having them put them down.
I drove to get Kristen Thursday. Dh went in late and took care of the "body". Buried it in the garden on the side.
Kristen feels like crud. And it took us forever to get off campus b/c she had a $30 bill for a shirt (she's helping teach kids lessons next semester and they have this polo shirt they all have to wear so the parents dropping the children off know that the college kids are part of the program) and I figured I'd take care of it while I was there.
Car almost ran out of gas. It takes about a whole tank to do the trip to school and back. The car said fuel was low- 50 miles. Well- it was 50 miles to Petersburg, which has a ton of gas stations, and the price is .10 cheaper than we can get it here. So we waited. We're almost there- the car's down to 1 mile to empty- no gas station. We're both worrying. I did make it to one- I think there was .3 gallons left LOL.
Hugs Cheryl! I was so sad to see your post last night and figured Kristen didn't make it home in time. how is she taking it? I'm so glad you made it to a gas station, BTDT and it sucks when it runs out of gas!
