Good morning ladies.  Quiet day again, people are still straggling back to work so its still quiet around here and 2 of the 4 people in our division are gone again today.  I have a few small things to work on, but that's about it.  Jordyn is working tumble camp today, her chiropractor appt. got cancelled as the doctor is sick and she's a bit irked about it.  She is also working tonight from 4:30-7:30 and then going over to the office manager's house to find out all the arrangements of her cat sitting job for the next week.  The little girls and I will go home, have dinner, work on a project I promised and head to bed early again.  They are still adjusting to being back up at 6 a.m. and extremely grouchy both in the mornings and evenings.

Have a great one!

Oh good grief!!  I had to log in three times before I could post.  Lord have mercy!  Blah!  Wink  LOL  Sorry I haven't bee here in a few days.  I have just been using my Ipad a lot lately and sometimes I can post on here from it amd sometimes  can't.  Kids started back to school today and I celebrated by going to get myself a coffee at Starbucks after dropping Matthew off at school.  LOL  Then around 10:30 Tim called and asked me to lunch to celebrate the kids going back to school.  LOL  We are so bad!  LOL  It wasn't a bad break.  They were better behaved but I get tired of the constant chatter and need for attention.  I so much like my quiet house during the day.  Miss it when I don't have it.  After I got home I hung Katies new curtains up, Two British flags.  What a pain in the a$$.  My last screw broke just as I got it screwed into the wall.  I left it alone.  It still works, no problems.  It's not like she will be swinging on them.  LOL  I vacuumed up two and 1/.2 rooms today.  One room was a clutter mess but I still managed to get some of the room vacuumed.  As soon as Katie unloads the dishwasher I will be finishing up the kitchen.

Tonight for dinner we will be having hamburgers.

Hi everyone, Thursday feels good.  I went into work early for a faculty meeting. Our students gave us a run for our money today and I am beat.  After work, I took Ian to the orthodontist and picked Kayleigh up from play rehearsal.  NOw, making steaks, baked potatoes and veggies.  Wanted to get stuff done tonight but I think I am too tired!

Hi, all.  My kids went back to school yesterday, but since I don't have to start back until the 14th, now that my house is more under control, I decided to start working on a T-shirt quilt for DD.  I saved all her T-shirts from her school/activities in Alabama, and those will be the top, then I got a sheet from the thrift shop and will be tie dyeing that in royal blue, as her former school's colors were royal blue and white.  Today I cut up the shirts, tomorrow, I plan to iron fusible interfacing on the back of all the shirt pieces and cut my blocks and dye the sheet.  I think I will have enough scraps left over to make her a little rug to match :-).  When I got done cutting up shirts this morning, I went in to town to get the mail, then I made my weekly Target run.  I picked up a bench for the cabin, an office chair for our home office, interfacing for the quilt, then spent a good 30-45 minutes at the pharmacy dealing with insurance crap. :-/  DH's employers changed our plan AGAIN.  Luckily, his prescriptions were covered, but holy cow...This is the second switch they've made to our health coverage in less than a year.  It has not been an easy transition.

I sent DH out to pick up what I forgot, DS is working the school store tonight during the girls' basketball game, and DD managed to pull up her grades, so she is cheering tonight.  It is very quiet here with just the dogs and me.

Wendy, I want to make one of those quilts for Jordyn, I just don't know if my quilting/sewing skills are that good! And then there's the issue of time... I guess I better get thinking about it soon though! I started her recipe book she requested to take to school with her, I've at least started typing up recipes in the computer for it and bought the book I want to put it in.
