Kept the car again today so I took Tim to work and amde sure he knew I wanted Valentines this year. That it means a lot to me for him to take the time and go find me a card and a box of chocolates. He is anti-valentines Day, didn't use to be but he's gottne a lot more PIA about stuff like this as he gets older. Ran some errands after dropping him off. Took Katie her jacket she couldn't find and din't have time to look for it cause the bus was coming. Picked up a few needed groceries, dropped them off at home and ran to Staples to get the mechanical pencils the kids like and me a flash drive.

Home now eating a scrambled omlett and getting ready to back up my computer on the flash drive so I can reformatt my laptop. Tonight we have orientation for high school. Guess we will all go to that.

Matthew wanted to fix dinner so not sure what he's fixing. Using the Kebosa sausage I have in the freezer.

Cheryl, like I told Ami, you don't have to go anywhere at all! We are happy to have you on the board, even if you don't technically have a 10-14 any longer. Heck, I don't either and look at me, hanging around... ;0)

Wishing Becca a very Happy Birthday today!

I am off today, still have the headache and earache. What I forgot last night was that DD is in the spelling bee today! Good thing I took myself out of the system at work. It is her last one :-(. This morning she said she wished she hadn't qualified, she wanted to be the 8th grader that gets to adjust the microphone and the step for the shorter contestants. Tonite there is an advisement night at the HS for sophomores. Don't really need to go, just want to ask the academic dean a question Dinner pasta, salad, and Italian sausage. Thinking about trying a sauce recipe made with goat cheese.

LOL! I can understand your attitude Cheryl. It is hard. That is part of what I am afraid of next year, if Jordyn is on the h/s cheer squad, the coach has said many times she wants Jordyn to be captain of the team, and usually the captain's mom is on the cheer boosters board, and/or the team mom and is heavily involved in cheer activities, none of which I am at all, and really don't want to.

After the meltdown she had again this morning (that I heard about from DH, who has never seen one of her meltdowns), I just can't help but think she needs to pick ONE cheer squad next year and that is it.

If I had been thinking straight, I would have planned something about Groundhog Day for Homework Club. but I didn't. Today the kids and I were up at 5:30 so we could be out the door for their 7:30 orthodontist appointments. DD had a dental appointment at 10:00 in another town to finally get her missing filling replaced so we left the Expedition at the dentist's office. Took the kids to the ortho, dropped DD off at the dentist, then I headed to school with DS. It was a crazy day at school. the dean of students was not in the office today, the principal was busy doing observations all day, the intercom system was malfunctioning, so things were nuts! I had Homework club after school, then DS and I picked up a couple things at the grocery store and headed for home. I was supposed to go to a meeting at church, but I woke up in the middle of the night with a headache and have not been able to get rid of it. DH is going to present what I needed to present, as he is on this committee as well. Ham and scalloped potatoes (from a box) for dinner tonight. I am going to bed as soon as I find Crazydog. It was pretty warm for here today and DH left the dog outside when he left for work. now I can't find the dog. I wanted DS to go out on the snowmobile and look for him but he refused. Sigh
