Good morning ladies, its Thursday, how are you doing today?

We all got up on time and Tim left early. I got Katie on the bus andthen Natalie and I needed to leave for her phsycologist appointment to see about ADHD. Matthew got himself out the door, hopefully on time. Otherwise he walked to school. We had a good appointment. She pretty much let me say my peace without interuption. A few things she did not agree with but it's things she did not want to hear or didn't know why. Got her to school right at class change, in time for PE. LOL I will be matching up socks today. I have a full laundry basket that needs to be matched up. Later I have to pick up Natalie and Katie up after school, Natalie has PT at 4pm. To make sure they are home in time I pick them up.
Dinner will be grilled chicken w/avacado in a salad. My family has grown to love this.
Fingers crossed about the job Cheryl. Even if it's not a great job, not having to take on debt for the tuition would make it worthwhile. I might be looking for a second job when Kayleigh goes next year. I'm glad that she really likes her college so far!
So I might have a job. Maybe. Not something I really want to do- and the pay isn't wonderful. But- this temp agency is willing to take me on (I'd be taking service calls for a large auto dealership). It's temp-perm, and I'll bet the perm position pays more than the temp one does.
What I make would pay the overage on Kristen's tuition. I know we don't have to worry about it this year- but the money MIL set aside for education will be gone this time next year. And I really think she likes this school I've got one more test I need to take- the other 3 I took I did well on so I'm not expecting to do badly on this one.
Becca said she wanted to go over to the middle school and say "hi" to some of her teachers. There's an end-of-summer party for the kids at church tonight, she said she might want to go. I might go over with her and check out the crochet group that a friend of mine keeps talking about. They make hats, blankets etc- some of them go into Operation Christmas Child boxes- some of them have gone to the Crisis Pregnancy center.
Dh went away on business. Not sure what dinner will be. I still am having a time trying to figure out what to cook for only 3 people LOL
Zeph and the dog have been overcome with stress and exhaustian. Fermi was up from 11last night to 7 this morning barking. I slept through it, but DH and DS got a terrible night's sleep. Zeph was up way too early from the barking and was just vile and ugly with his words. Thankfully, he fell back asleep. I'm going to let him sleep. The dog is now konked out too. I would love to go back to bed, but I have regular housekeeping to do. Laundry is going, house is dusted and vacummed. I'm about to start on the bathrooms.
Zeph enjoyed his new swim group yesterday. It is not near as strenuous as his team practices were, but he liked it anyway. The coach is energetic and the kids range from beginner on up. There are only 2 other kids at Zeph's level which makes for a nice lane.
Hoping to get some work done outside today .Good for the pup and the kid to be in the fresh air and it should wear them out again.
Tonight is regular bedtimes for us all. Dinner is pasta with grilled italian sausage coins, salad, and foccaccia bread.
Relatively smooth morning so far, but I am purposely forgetting about the 3 year old temper tantrum... I know its an adjustment for her not to have Emma with her, and we will get through this, it will be fine, sigh. I am both looking forward and dreading this 3 day weekend we have coming up. I have a 10:00 meeting and a bunch of projects to work on today, but other than that it should be a pretty quiet day. I left my lunch in the fridge at home.
Jordyn has the football dinner tonight to attend. I have lots of laundry, cleaning and paperwork to work on tonight. Not sure what's for dinner yet, something with chicken. Have a great day!
Good morning everyone, these last precious days of summer vacation are slipping away so quickly and I feel so unmotivated!
Kayleigh is at a mentorship meeting at the HS this morning. She'll be assigned to her mentee/mentees. As soon as she gets back, I need to drop her at a 4H friend's house. She and the friend's family are leaving for state fair this afternoon. I'm not quite clear on whether she is coming home on Sunday or Monday.
Ian and I are home this morning, since Kayleigh has my car. He's straightening up his stuff and writing his final copy of his summer reading reports. I'm going to exercise, cross stitch, maybe catch up with a couple of friends by phone. This afternoon, Ian and I will go to the lake for a few hours, and tonight we are grilling chicken and Italian sausages.
Have a wonderful day!
