Cheryl, honestly if DH had said a year ago we'd refinance, great.  The interests have been so low we should have done it a long time ago.  But if we realistically only plan on staying in the house 6 more months, I don't really see the point.  It feels like by the time the process will get done we'll be putting it up for sale, but what do I know...  He said it was such a low fee because of the VA status that we'd make up for the costs in less than 2 months worth of mortgage payment savings.  I have a hard time believing that, but I'll go over the paperwork when it arrives tomorrow.

Legs and abs feel like jell-o right now.  Went over to the gym to do 30 minutes of cardio- and the abs class that I've done for the last 3 weeks.  We had a different teacher today MAN her class was hard.  Ouch.

Doing our laundry.  I have to go to Lynchburg tomorrow to get the kid.  She does want to come home, when I said I'd be there at noon I got a text back saying "Yay!"  LOL  If I'm caught up with ours, she can spend the next few days doing the zillion loads she'll have.  I'm kind of curious how much snow they got.  Charlottesville got 14 inches or snow- and they're an hour or so south.

I should clean that last room that needs to be done.  Then the house will be in decent shape (as long as people clean up after themselves) when I start temping in a week.

Becca's lesson got canceled.  I could make something, but I think we'll do leftovers.  Tomorrow I can do the roast in the crock-pot since I'll be gone most of the day.

Tracy- we just refinanced our house for (hopefully) the last time.  I think it was the 4th time we've done it.  For the most part it was pain-free, and the nice thing is since we went through our current loan servicer, we had a notary come here and we signed everything here. Cheryl

Apparently we are refinancing the house.  DH called me, from the road in Indiana, to tell me paperwork would come tomorrow.  I am not clear why we are doing it if we are planning on ideally putting the house up for sale in 6 months, possibly less.  The reduction in payment will be a nice plus, but still.  I hate going through the refinance, or mortgage process in general.

It was a rough morning, the girls gave me issues going to bed last night, then they were tired this morning, and traffic was horrendous.  Almost 2 hours to get to work today.  I came in to 5 new bill analysis sitting in my in box all due on Monday. sigh.  I have another project that's deadline is today that I need to finish up and a few other things that need to be done.  I need to run to the post office later to mail all the paperwork for Jordyn's summer job.  Tonight is a quick dinner and bath for Emma as the girls are both going to bed early, they are tired.  And I need to clean the house before DH gets home tomorrow.  I spent last night reorganizing the office and doing tax stuff.  Not sure what's for dinner, I need to see if Jordyn is going to be home or not.

Have a good one!

Hi everyone, hope you are doing well.  No snow materialized overnight and we've just had maybe a half inch this morning, so thankfully no snow day eating up the rest of our spring break. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same.

Ian went off to school.  I took off to take Kayleigh for her root canal. HOpefully she has no complications and the infection clears up and swelling goes down quickly.  I guess I did not need a whole day off, but I have around 60 sick days banked, so why not?  I'll read and clean and wait on Kayleigh.  Today she needs to send her decline letters to the colleges that she is not attending.

Tonight, Kayleigh and i have a meeting at the HS, to go over the last minute details for her Europe trip over spring break

Good morning!  We've been working on school.  I'm about to call the dog sitter and and get the okay on our vacation dates and then order our Disney tickets.  We'll be going with a homeschool travel group and the ticket prices are phenomonal- 7 day hoppers with the water parks and more add on for $245 pp.  Hotel and food is to be arranged on our own.  The only group activity is for Zeph to attend a Disney education program.  The rest of the trip we can do as we please.  Very excited!  Once room rates come ou, I'll decide where on property we;re staying and for how long.

This afternoon Zeph has a friend coming over.  I'll be working on dusting and laundry. No idea on dinner tonight.      DH needs to deep clean the bathrooms and change the shower curtain liners.  What a wild evening!

Morning. We are showering and taking it easy in our hotel. The service starts at 11:30 with a big get together afterward. We decided to stay own other night and leave tomorrow morning. I really don't know much more then that for our day. Tonight will be out for dinner unless Tim decides we ate enough at lunch. Hate it when he does that. I have to tell him otherwise for the kids sake. They practically starve seems like these days. Have a good day friends.
