Good morning ladies!  How are you today? What plans do you have for today?

For those that are celebrating either Easter or Passover, what have you done this week and what are you doing to get ready for this weekend?

Good morning.  Today is a long school day.  He's got two projects to wrap up and two to start.  I know he needs adult input on the ones he is finishing up, I think he's been waiting for me and I'm waiting for DH because I'm confused by the directions.  I want to make sure he is on the right track wth the new projects so he can continue to work on them solo in the weeks to come.  He's got some work to do for his Lit Group and we have a ton of discussion for history.   I hope he does well on his math test.  Math has been a sore spot attitude wise lately.

Hoping to get the pups out for a walk today and do some work around the house.  Someone needs to go grocery shopping or it's take out tonight.

We are in DC touring the Smithsonian museums. It's so awesome down here!  We actually drove our car and park red in a garage. It was cheaper then taking the Metro or us. It was awesome driving in. We saw a helicopter that looked like th presidents but not sure. Time to go!

Ugh, trying to do payroll and DH gave me the login and password, but didn't say anything about security questions.  You really find out how well you know your husband when you get all the security questions wrong!  I finally got everything straightened out, including 2 other emergencies and a payment for a part. sigh.

I am on my way to look at a car on my lunch hour and then deposit a check for DH into the business account.  Crossing my fingers the car at lunch works out!  I have another one to look at this evening also...

Tonight, looking at cars, most likely drive thru dinner again for the girls since they get dragged along with me to look at the car.  I promised them bath and stories tonight when we get home.  More paperwork for me to do, laundry and hopefully I may get around to starting to fill easter eggs for hunting on Sunday.  I hate waiting til Saturday night to do it.

Have a great one!!

Enjoy!  Which museum did you go to? With only 2 days, I bet it was a hard decision.  You could easily spend all day in just 1 museum!

Hi everyone. Spring "break" has finally arrived, all two days of it.

I had a delightful day!  I stayed in bed til a little after 8 a.m.  Ian made me eggs for breakfast.  i spent most of the day curled up with a blanket and the cat reading a book, magazine and the newspaper.

Kayleigh and her group went to Mount Pilates today.  I'm sad for her that her trip is winding to a close. In 48 hours, she'll be on the plane, heading for home.

Tonight, I'm making a soup with chicken meatballs and tortellini and spinach.  Mostly a relaxing evening planned, maybe a glass of wine.  Do-nothing days are so rare!

My spring break at work starts on Monday, but since the status of my position is up in the air depending on enrollment I decided to use up any time off I have accumulated, because if I go back to full time subbing I will lose those days. My kids break started yesterday and goes through next week. Today is just a clean up and packing for the trek to the inlaws tomorrow. Tomorrow after we drop off the dog, we will go get the kids haircut and run a few errands. Hopefully by the time we get back DH will be finished with work and we will hit the road. Next week we have a few college visits, and I will start searching in earnest for a car for DS.A few years ago we sold BIL my old car which would have been perfect for DS. Looking back, I am not sure what we were thinking, but I know it helped him out at the time. Dinner tonite is leftovers and salad.i should probably bake for the weekend also.

Heather, we spent all day in museums yesterday. After some tine outside the Capitol Building. We went to the American Indian museum, air and space, national, art gallery and natural history. Some,of them are closed right now. We may hit the American history museum today while browsing the monuments. Everyone wants to go back to the natural history museum again, so if we can squeeze it in we will. Crowds are awful in the popular museums. Ugh. DC students are on spring break too so part of the crowds may be that. Our hotel is less crowded so hoping today is a better day out and about. Staying out here is the right idea for sure.

Glad you're having fun.  Hope the crowds are less for you today.
