Good morning ladies, how are you today?
Good morning ladies. I had the worst time getting on the boards this morning, I hope no one else did!
Morning is off to a decent start. Plans for lunch with a co-worker and a couple of projects to work on. Tonight, we are on our second try to get the closing on our refinance done, we'll see what happens. I also need to do more laundry and invoicing for DH. Dinner is chicken and veggie stirfry.
Have a good one!
So that was why. I tried signing on, didn't work and I had to go get the car's oil changed this morning. So this is the first that I've been on today. I might go over to the whining board and whine a bit- it's just one of those days.
Becca called while I was at the car place. I have no idea what was going on- she was fine when she leftI'm wondering if something went on in her math class this morning.
Her grades are ok right now (not 4.0 territory- but I'll take a 3.0 or higher right now). Core subjects are kind of stressing her out right now, I'm so glad there's only 2 ish months left in this year. Next year might be stressful- but at Govenor's school she'll be doing stuff that she really likes. Math, Bio and French- she could do without.
Re-treat for termites this afternoon. The guy who was going to check for damage never showed on Monday- I need to call them too. This guy coming today probably won't have a clue about the Monday appt.
And though Becca won't be happy- it's leftovers tonight.
Morning. We had an odd morning this morning. Today is take your kids to work day so Matthew went with Tim and Katie is here with me. Natalie will come with me after school lets out for the summer. I took Katie to gt a donut which I do once in a while. We will be going out to lunch soon. Nat is begging me to pick her up at lunch and drop Katie off. I wish but I work too far away to do that. I will probably pick Matthew up from Tim's work on my way home. I think Katie is bored, she has been on Twitter for a while now. Help me do some work but now we are at a lull. Tonight nothing going on that I know of. Dinner will be a tuna helper of some kind.
It's been a fun morning. DS did some history and then DH, DS, and I headed to homeschool skate. DH was only able to stay about an hour, but he and I had fun on our skating date:) It's been years since he or I have been on skates, but it came back to us. I stayed and visited with friends while DS skated for another 2 hours. He's resting until tackling a bit more school before he and DH head to their evening bowling league. I plan to work on cleaning the kitchen and laundry this evening.
Hi, everyone. It has been a busy week for us (but then, what week isn't busy, LOL). Monday I had to drive down to my school and deliver my photo for the student art exhibit. DD had a really bad headache so I had to take DS to his school first, after they had a big blowup--him accusing her of faking, her accusing him of being something I can't mention here. After delivering the photo I stopped for gas and realized I had a flat tire. I then got a big lecture from the guy at the service station. Then I had to stop at the vet's office and deliver a stool sample of the puppy's and they were snarky b/c I hadn't scheduled her next visit (she isn't overdue, so I don't know what the big deal is--I don't like this vet's office, but it's slim pickings here). Then warning lights started flashing on my dashboard about the tire pressure sensor being inactive. So Monday was pretty horrible. The rest of the week has been more of the same, with lots and lots of driving included <<sigh>>. On the bright side, we didn't get the additional snow that the National Weather Service was forecasting. Today I had to take DH to town to get the Expedition, which had been in the shop. Again. I worked with the student I'm tutoring at the college for an hour before class, went to class, worked with the same student after class, and now I'm home trying to work up the enthusiasm to do my astronomy lab and weekly astronomy test. I have some chicken breasts thawing and plan to make chicken Kiev and rice pilaf for dinner. No other plans except going to bed early.
Hi everyone, hope it's been a good day for you. Here, another beautiful spring day, sunny and upper 60s.
A little drama at work today, one of the kids in my class fell off a piece of playground equipment at recess and may have broken his foot, I feel so badly but sometimes things happen when you are right there. Other than that, a pretty typical day.
Ian had state math testing at school and is now busy packing for his scout weekend away. Kayleigh had a regular school day, then GSA, now volunteering at the art center.
Dh, Ian and I are having a super early dinner of pasta with bolognese and salad, then going to pick up Kayleigh and all heading over to the HS for the student art show. We go every year. EAch year, they choose 5 seniors who each get their own display area, are the "featured artists", etc and Kayleigh is one of them :)
Then, home for Greys, a glass of wine and a cupcake!
