LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!  It's a half day.  I woke Matthew late on accident.  I thought he was already up.  So he was doing things in a quick way.  Tim is home at least until 10am today meeting the cable guy to replace our DVR.  It's not recornding and after a reset it still wouldn't work.  But the kids got out on time and I left early so I could arrive early and make up some of the time I lost when I left early yesterday.  Today I am picking up the girls birthday cakes.  Yay!  Can't wait to see them.  I am also taking them to get their cupcakes that I buy each one of them on their birthday.

Friday is a busy day.  Friday morning I will take the girls to get there MPower checking account opened.  Then Tim and I are dropping his car off to be fixed, it has a scarey wiggle.  He will go pick up some balloons later that day and then we will meet him at the pizza place with all their friends.  They are getting each getting $100 from us and then they will go shop with thier friends and have fun, I hope.

We plan a lot of cooking out this weekend.  Tim is going to let the kids pick out things to grill and it will just be a relaxing weekend.  We will do a bunch of cleaning today to get the house ready for a easy free weekend.

Today is my Friday!!  I am off for the next 4 days.  I will do my best to post the Friday/Weekend Thread tonight or tomorrow morning, but if I don't make it on, feel free to start one for me.

Today I have small projects to work on, errands or a nap at lunch.  Jordyn starts exams today, but she exempted out of all of them.  So she is off, she had a long list of things to get done, including the inspection on her car, and she has a private lesson at 4 and then work at 4:30.  Tonight, I have invoicing for DH, cleaning out my truck and the Red Wings Hockey game.

Tomorrow morning is Emma's kindergarten graduation and I have a dental appointment at 3:00.  We are planning as of right now to put in new floors in the living room this weekend, so I'll spend tomorrow getting supplies and doing prep work.  And then the rest of the weekend will be spent cleaning the house before relatives arrive for Jordyn's graduation next week.

Have a love day!!

Happpy last day to Matthew, Natalie and Kaitlyn!  I hope they enjoy their first day of summer vacation, although really it's spring vacation for now :)  Summer vacation is still a long ways off here.

OMG, a miracle has occurred, I can see the board!  Sorry for my absence all week but I was not able to access the current board. I missed you all!

My sister is still hanging in there.  Guess her death was not as imminent as they believed.  I took Thursday off, kind of a mental health day, the stress and exhaustion over the sister issue coupled with just not feeling great. So I took some time to rest/nap, also made a bunch of doctor appointments and a list of stuff I need to get/do for Kayleigh's graduation party. Time to really start planning.

Ian returned dinnertime Thursday from his four day 8th grade Washington DC trip, having had a wonderful time. I think he appreciated the social aspect more than the historical aspect.   Kayleigh had her AP exam and was very relieved for that to be over with. Now she's busy finishing up projects and studying for finals over the next few school days.

Zeph had his first art turtorial and I couldn't have been more pleased. We decided on $20 for up to 1.5 hours of lesson and $25 if it goes to 2 hours.  The tutor looked over the lesson plan and asked if he could make it a bit more modern while still keeping true to the goals.  He turned it into a landscape from Lord of the Rings and included the 3 ways to create depth. He asked for the lesson plans for the next couple of sessions so he could prepare:)  I think this will be a great solution to finish the hands on portion of the curriuclum.

The rest of the day was typical- school, some cleaning and bowling.
