Morning. I decided to stay home today. I was only going to be at work for a half day anyway and its that time of the month and I have a headache and cramps and work is really slow so I figured forget it. I'll call in sick. I have to go to UPS today too in order to pick up a package. I wrote the check out wrong when I left it and now I have to go to their office. Grrrr. Then I have to go and pick up Kristen at her Dad's then we are picking up her friend and going to dinner and to the Simple Plan concert tonight. I am kind of ticked because when we bought the tickets it was for Simple Plan, Faber Drive and All American Rejects. Now suddenly its Simple Plan, Metro Station and Cute is What We're Aiming For (what a lame name). I wanted to see Faber Drive and AAR. Oh well, it will still be fun I hope. So

Good Morning! Happy Thursday ... one more day to go and then THREE DAY WEEKEND!! YAY!

I went to Costco and Whole Foods last night...sheesh! I will NEVER skip a few weeks again. Replenishing everything is costly. With the kids being gone for a month it was easy to not shop...never again though. I spent an astronomical amount.

They all had a great first day of school! They were yammering about it all night last night. =)

Our morning got off to a pretty easy start. Now that all of my kids have to be at school by 8, we all have to get up a little earlier so we are still getting used to that. DH even got up to make breakfast. Isaiah and I had strawberries and turkey bacon the others had waffles, eggs and turkey bacon.

Challenging commute into work for me as its raining (we're getting the remnants of tropical storm Fay) & I not only had to drop Jamie at ES before care but it was the first day I had to drop Rach off at the HS for her 1st period language class. Its a 2nd yr Chinese class that isn't being taught at her MS so after the class is over she'll take a bus back to MS for 2nd period & the remainder of her schedule.

Traffic was a virtual parking lot on the road approaching the HS dropoff area...I told Rach it was impossible for me to come in w/her but she was ok w/that. She has to go to the counseling office which is across from the main office (right at the front entrance, not too hard to find) to find out where her class is.

Nothing exciting going on at work except I'm in a temp cube so another coworker & I are sitting in a temp space separated from the rest of the group. They have finished drywalling & painting our old space, now putting down new carpet. Next will be to assemble the modular furniture before we move back...which my boss says will be around Sept 15.

Tam, sorry you're feeling under the weather.

I can tell you right now what her friend Tara will be wearing: baggy skater jeans about 6 inches too long, skate shoes, a dark super baggy t-shirt topped by a dark

Cheryl I'm sure its probably just nerves, Jordyn was excited to go to school on Monday, but even she said she was a bit nervous about it.
