Good morning ladies!  Late night, early morning, I'm tired!  I have a welcome breakfast this morning for a new employee in our little 4 person "division" in about 15 minutes, a department meeting at 10 and then a meeting to ease in my replacement and the new attorney down in my old division at 3:00, and a few small projects to work on, so it'll be a busy day!  Debating whether I take a nap at lunch or run some errands.  Jordyn has pre-camp today and then has to go get her inspection done on her car.  DH worked overnight at a job out of town, and I'm sure he'll come home to sleep eventually today, then he is supposed to go out with friend's for a birthday party tonight.

Have no idea what's for dinner, I need to go stock up on meats and stuff for the house.  I may just pick up a pizza for the kids and then make myself a salad for dinner.

Have a great day!

Not sure what today will bring... I don't have a class with kids but I do have to go for an hour and work the desk at church while the admin has lunch. Evan will have to come with me as he has an ortho appointment at 1:15 and I won't have time to come home and pick him up before then.

Evan pulled yet another stunt yesterday. I told him he could go to the beach and he told me there were plans to go to someone's house around dinner. I told him that was fine, just check in with me at 5:00ish. At 5:20 he hadn't called so I called him and we got into it. I ended up picking him up and bringing him home right then and there. I really thought that after Monday's issue we wouldn't have a problem. Boy was I wrong. Lots of, "I hate you","You don't want me to have fun", and far worse. He's awake this morning and hasn't said a word to me yet. There are things he needs to do today and I absolutely dread speaking to him. He's spending the next two weeks with my parents so maybe things will be better when he gets back.

Ite than the ortho appointment there isn't much on the schedule for today. Dinner is either chicken or leftover lemon linguini. Think I'll go with chicken because Evan won't eat the linguini cold and I don't really want to make things any worse.. Dh isn't going
to be home for dinner so that leaves an odd chicken breast but that can be added to salad later I guess.

Going to try to enjoy the day. It's the last one before weekend craziness begins...

We made it to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin without a problem. They are off to pictures and then they have a practice. We brought 209 swimmers from Minnesota. The largest team we have ever brought. Wisconsin is having State, so a lot of the kids from that State are swimming that instead!

Neither girl swims tomorrow, so I think we will go to warm up and then to Chicago for the day!

Dinner is out at a family restaurant near the team hotel. Have a good nite!

Argh.  Frustrated.

Dragged Becca out of bed for her dermatologist appt.  Came back home.  Then she got annoyed b/c she wanted to go to the DMV.  Told her it wasn't happening today.

I went to the library, eye doctor for a re-check of the bifocal contacts, then off to this open house for a job.  SIgh.  What. A. Waste.  The job that I might be qualified for- in the darn interview room we are told they are no longer accepting applications for.  SIGH.  So the point of this open house was??????????????  Since more than half the people there were looking for that job?

Wasn't qualified to do anything else in that company (they process mortgages and I've never done that- even though I told them I'm more than willing to learn- they just don't want to hear that.  SIGH)

Ran to the pet store to get cat litter.  SInce we leave for the IL's on Sunday (oh boy).  I then asked Kristen if she'd take Becca to her lesson, I'm done playing chauffer.

Kristen calls me 20 minutes later.  "Did you do something to the van"?  Nope.  Becca was being a pain in the butt back seat driver.  Sigh.  I am SO tired of this. Every single time the two of them go out- Becca just sits there and picks at every single thing her sister does while driving.  I'm surprised Kristen hasn't gotten into a more serious wreck.  I am SO tired of it.

I think at this point she's going to wait until Aug 20 (Kristen will be at school at that point) for the darn thing.  It's not like she's going to get any driving time at the IL"s.  We're renting a car- she can't drive that.  I seriously doubt that MIL or FIL (like FIL would do anything anyways) would take her out driving.  It's not like she's going to get any serious driving time in over the 4 DAYS we'll have left with Kristen when we get back.  And Kristen is certainly not going to sit in the passenger seat with Becca driving.

My 15 year old needs to get over "It's all about me".  SIGH.    Yes she will get her licence.  She can't get the actual licence until May anyways, and it's not like she can drive to school next year (Juniors and Seniors can).  It's not like she'd be able to do the Bay Youth drive anyways- I don't even trust Kristen by herself doing that route.

Sorry for the vent.  I'm just kind of annoyed right now, and I don't want to yell at the kids or dh.  Since they didn't do anything to make me mad.  This job thing- just ugh.  It's not like we need the money right now- I keep telling myself that Kristen's set for school this year.  It's just next year that's got me kind of concerned.............

Hi all, happy Thursday.  The week flew by, and after this week, only four more weeks of summer vacation, boo.

Ian's still on his canoe trip, Kayleigh is at work. I worked this morning, then went to the lake, perfect day for some sun and the water.  Tonight, I need to do a little cleaning and I hope to read and watch the Olympics.

I planned breakfast for dinner. I don't really feel like making or eating it, but there's really nothing else.
