She broke her hip about a week and a half ago, had surgery (luckily only needed pins, didn't need more extensive hip replacement), she's been in rehab since last Friday and has been doing great, ready to go home now. She lives in a retirement apartment, so has meals and such provided, so I think she'll do well. She's in her 80's, so I was very concerned for her but she's rallied well, thanks for asking.
Poor dear! I hope she recovers quickly. I hear about hip replacement surgeries often. my fellow PTA President had one and she was only 50. Isn't that kind of young?
