I have the feeling it's going to be another lazy day....DH is off today & tomorrow, and that usually means we go find something to do (since he hates being cooped up in the house on his days off) but since we're still waiting for a bonus check that was supposed to be in the bank months ago, I think we'll be hanging out here.
Hazy, humid, hot summer day typical of August around here....after all this is the last day of July. I'm not too excited about doing much work since I had to pack & box most of my stuff. The IT people will be moving my PC/printer around the corner tomorrow so I'm not sure how much work will be done ;-) Next wk our office space, or the cubes will be reconfigured & shifted as well as new carpet put down.
Morning. It was an early one here. I was going to get up at 7:10 to drive my parents to golf so I could have the car, but the stupid railroad guys decided to run equipment right behind my parents house at 6:15 and my window was open. ARGGGHH!!! I sounded like a garbage truck backing up, that beep beep beep thing going on. So I'm kind of dragging. But I drove my parents and Kristen and I will meet them at the club for lunch. I already exchanged one horse halter we got for some friends this morning (gotta love small farming communities where the hardware store opens at 8:00). Kristen got a ceramic horse at the ceramics store last night so she has to paint that today and take it back to be sprayed later today. But otherwise that's about it for us. Nothing too exciting. Tomorrow is our last day here so I have to start thinking about packing some stuff.
Got up and went for a walk to get the exercise out of the way before it got too hot outside. Went through some of the bins from the laundry room, and helped Evan in his room a little. Right now I'm waiting for the guys to come with the washer and dryer. They should be here between 3 and 6. I wish we weren't the last appt of the day but at least they're getting us in today instead of tomorrow. Maybe I'll take a nap for 20 - 30 minutes. I'd like to clean the kitchen floor but they're going to be walking on it. I'd like to do laundry but can't until they're done. I'd like to put some of the things from the laundry room back where they belong but need to wait until they finish installing. I'm sort of in a holding pattern right now.
Tonight I'll do laundry and help Evan finish packing. Tomorrow morning I'm meeting a friend from out of town and her new baby (4 months old) at the zoo and tomorrow afternoon we leave to pick up Megan at camp and spend the weekend with my parents and drop Evan off on Sunday.
Good afternoon, checking in from Cali here! I have been very busy the past few weeks. Planning our Wedding REception and my FIL's surprise 75th B-day party (Which was last Saturday) Our reception is August 8th!
Today we have the tile guys here doing the bathroom, FINALLY! I have so much to do! Laundry, making favor boxes for the reception entertaining kids LOL!
Good Morning!
You were up early this am.
Hi everyone, gorgeous day here.
