just knowing I have things to do that day. I get up right before the alarm goes off and I lay there for a few minutes and then get up. Not hard.. Now getting Jackie up I am open to suggestions......she is hard to get up. I tell her four or five times than start moving covers and telling her to move. I have been known to throw her clothes on the bed and tell her to get dressed. When i come back she is dresses its amazing....LOL but she drags her feet in the morning. We are hardly ever out the door when we need to be.
Not much works. I swear no matter how early I set the alarm I know exactly how late I can lay there and then do it. Just having a deadline, if I have to leave for work early or something is the only motivator. I tend to lay there and listen to the radio for 30-40 min. I keep thinking I should set the alarm later and then get more sleep but I'm afraid I'd still want to lay there for 30 min then I'd be in trouble. I don't drink coffee or anything but once I'm out of bed I'm fine, its just the getting out.
Just knowing that I have things to do gets me up and keeps me up. I don't do caffeine. I make sure I have at least 8 hours of sleep a night and THAT seems to do the trick. Last night I stayed up past midnight because I just couldn't sleep. (Usually I have no problem getting to sleep). I had to get up with less that 8 hours which was not fun and I'm tired now. I'll probably be back on track tonight, sleeping when I should.
English Breakfast Tea and just sitting there with my feet up; work nites so I hopefully the sun is shining and I just drink my tea and decided what to do first ;-)
A cool shower in the summer and a warm shower in the winter....that's it, nothing else! Okay, not true....a medium Dunkin Donuts coffee, but not since DH and I've been TTC, so the shower's it for now LOL
