DD(4.3) is still so darn attached! She wanted us to sign her up for soccer, and since she is so painfully shy around others, we jumped on her excitement----well the stipulation was that DH had to coach her team---fine.

Things have been crazy at work for both DH & I since its close to end of fiscal year (Sept 30). Also school starts next wk for the girls. In fact today is MS orientation for Rach & she'll be taking the bus so she had to be out at the stop at 7:10am since she's the 2nd stop. Also school will be starting at 7:45am so she'll be leaving for the bus around the same time I'm leaving to drop Jamie off at before school care. And the best part? No more $500+/mo childcare payment for Rach....altho she'll be a latchkey kiddo now. On my earliest days home she'll be home 1 1/2 hrs by herself so we'll have to see how that goes.

Off to work tonight - don't know if everyone will show up and the co-manager will be on with me tonight. Not sure what she will be doing. I am 6 people short on my crew and when they hire people, they still have 2 weeks of training on the other side of the store before I even get to have them on my crew. Yet they still expect me to get it ALL done.

ARGGH!!!

Wow Laura, you're on a roll. Gold star for Jordan for not making the thread. :-)

Just some minor work stuff. People who haven't seemed to grasp the fact that I have a NEW position now. Hello, I'm not doing that job anymore. One of the problems when you switch positions internally, they still keep thinking of you in the same way. That and waiting on people to get back to me so I can do something, hurry up and wait.

Also I am soooo lazy at home. I do next to nothing in the evenings, I just seem so exhausted. I had thought I would get all this stuff done while Kristen is away and .... Nada. I just seem to crash and can't get motivated. I don't know what my problem is. Maybe I need caffeine. And I'm having trouble falling asleep, I am tired, end up not going to bed until midnight then toss and turn. GRRRR! So just kind of a whiney vent there.

And I'm stressing over Kristen being at camp and it raining. Stupid since I can't do anything about it but I don't want it to be a waste of $800 if she can't even do what they were there for. I want it to be a good experience. I'm not very good at giving up control.

That's it. Therapy over.

On a lighter note, DH and DD3 (10 yo) are on Lake Ontario (yes, I said on) fishing for King Salmon for the next few days. The other 3 lovely ladies are going to my mom and dad's house. I will have uninterrupted sleep when I get home from work for the next few days. Plus the kids will have a ton of fun with grammy and papa - not to mention, Auntie and Uncle with the new puppy live right next door.

The last time we were on Lake Ontario, my 10 year old caught a 35" 25lb king salmon!!! She was so elated!!
