That's why I'm worried about Aly. She doesn't even flinch when an alarm goes off & off off.

Thankfully, she won't ever have to get up earlier than she does now for school (but as I've mentioned, it's not a problem waking up....I whisper, "Time to get up" and she's up & at 'em).

Gillian has an alarm clock, but she either sleeps right through it or turns it off and goes back to sleep. Lately I've been closing my bedroom door at night so that our two cats will pester her for their breakfast in the morning instead of me -- she can ignore an alarm, but not cat teeth in her ankle. :)

Our cat keeps scratching at our bedroom door until we open it.Although some nights he'll sleep with us,then he just wakes us up when he is bored.
