What are you reading this summer? So far this summer, I have read:
Where Are You Now - Mary Higgins Clark
The Appeal - John Grisham
Annie Freeman's Fabulous Travelling Funeral - Kris Radish
Picture Perfect - Jodi Picoult
The Red Tent - Anita Diamant
Hey Who's Having This Baby Anyway? - Breck Hawk
Excess Baggage - Lauren Davis
Housekeeping - Marilynne Robinson
The Goldfish Went on Vacation - Patty Dann
The Abstinence Teacher - Tom Perotta
and now I am reading Origin by Diana Abu-Jaber

Have you read anything that you loved? Hated? Loved the Travelling Funeral book and loved the Rent Tent - I didn't expect to, after all the hype and everyone teling me for 5 years that I MUST read it, but I adored it. Picture Perfect was a disappointment. I am a big, big Jodi Picoult fan but this was one of her very early books and not very good

What is your favorite book of all time? Sunshine by Norma Klein.

I have read a number of books this summer. I currently finished a chick lit book by Jane Green called Second Chance. It was deeper than I anticipated but was good nonetheless.

I need a new book to read. I may venture to the bookstore this week.

Being the avid reader that I am I have several books that stand out. However, two books that I always recommend is Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Angry-Housewives-Eating-Bon-Bons/Lorna-Landvik/e/9780345442826/?itm=1

The Kite Runner: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Kite-Runner/Khaled-Hosseini/e/9781594480003/?itm=1

What are you reading this summer? I just finished Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult, very good. Currently reading Three Cups of Tea, which is not a super entertaining read but an inspirational story!

Have you read anything that you loved? Hated? This summer-- loved Nineteen Minutes.

What is your favorite book of all time? Probably East of Eden or To Kill a Mockingbird.
