So far this summer, I have read: Where Are You Now - Mary Higgins Clark The Appeal - John Grisham Annie Freeman's Fabulous Travelling Funeral - Kris Radish Picture Perfect - Jodi Picoult The Red Tent - Anita Diamant Hey Who's Having This Baby Anyway? - Breck Hawk Excess Baggage - Lauren Davis Housekeeping - Marilynne Robinson The Goldfish Went on Vacation - Patty Dann The Abstinence Teacher - Tom Perotta and now I am reading Origin by Diana Abu-Jaber
Have you read anything that you loved? Hated? Loved the Travelling Funeral book and loved the Rent Tent - I didn't expect to, after all the hype and everyone teling me for 5 years that I MUST read it, but I adored it. Picture Perfect was a disappointment. I am a big, big Jodi Picoult fan but this was one of her very early books and not very good
What is your favorite book of all time? Sunshine by Norma Klein.
I have read a number of books this summer. I currently finished a chick lit book by Jane Green called Second Chance. It was deeper than I anticipated but was good nonetheless.
I need a new book to read. I may venture to the bookstore this week.
What are you reading this summer? I just finished Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult, very good. Currently reading Three Cups of Tea, which is not a super entertaining read but an inspirational story!
