Well, so far its quiet at work. None of the other support staff have made it in yet, I don't know if people are out today and I just don't know it or what the deal is. I have a full day of stuff to get done, possibly an errand at lunch. Nothing much planned for tonight, Jordyn has a basketball game to cheer at. I don't know if she's going into work for an hour, then practice for an hour then to the basketball game, or if she's coming home and relaxing then to the basketball game.

Have a great day!

DD woke up with a high fever this morning. She has had the cold that is going around, but I think this is something more. I just called in sick for the day. I don't feel comfortable leaving her home by herself. Today will just be stuff around here. Tonite DS has play practice and tutoring. DD will not be going to dance tonite, unless she just goes to sit and watch the new choreography so she does not fall behind. Dinner is pot roast that needs to go into the crock pot in a minute.

Happy birthday to Kristen. I'm sorry she was such a toot yesterday! Funny how they want to be an adult so badly, but when push comes to shove, they are happy having us do everything. I hope it was just a day attitude and she'll be done with it going forward.

Jordyn had an HTC before and really liked it. She had some battery issues at the end, but I think that was more because of how much she used it, not a battery issue itself. Funny, DH came in Christmas evening and said since i hadn't told him anything, he found something and ordered it, it'd be here in a few weeks. Haven't heard hide nor hair about it since, I question whether he actually ordered me anything or just said that to make me happy at the time...

Her other issue was that we didn't get her anything for her birthday.

She wants a Vera Bradley bag.

if its the one Jordyn had, yes its GPS capable. You are on verizon correct? I think all their phones have a separate function called VZ Navigator that is a separate GPS function. I didn't know I had it until the guy at the store explained to me what it was. I haven't used it yet, though it might have been nice in SA this weekend to go to the zoo instead of trying to read the paper directions on the expressway. LOL!

I hear you on the cleaning up and being an adult thing. I am constantly telling Jordyn that when she gives me an attitude about laundry or the bathroom. I think it sunk in a bit when my brother told her point blank over the holidays, especially if I am working a CPA job, I won't be home a lot and I don't do anyone else's laundry, and I rarely clean the bathroom myself. LOL! I told her hey, that's better at Uncle D's house, at least there its just you, him, his dog, and if he has another roommate at the time. If you were in a dorm, you'd have 3 other girls and no telling how good/bad they would be about cleaning up after themselves!

Of course Jordyn may learn pretty quickly, all she really has to do is drive 90 minutes east to grandma & grandpa's house and they will do her laundry and take her out to dinner, no questions asked. LOL!
