I think every teenager, even the best ones, have to do a bit of asserting their independance at some point, and its always best (though hair pulling) to do it at home under our roof, then off at college where we aren't there as a safety net of sorts. And yes, from all you've said of Kristen, there are much worse, take my youngest brother for example. LOL!

Hi everyone! Today is the last day of normalcy in our house for a while. Why is it that everything goes funky all at once? Evan has his last day of classes before finals today. Starting tomorrow he's got a funky schedule for a few days. On top of that, dh is going out of town tomorrow through Friday evening so I get to deal with the finals drama all by myself. Megan has a showcase for her general music class on Wednesday and the school spelling bee on Friday. Then both kids have different meets on Saturday (Evan swims Friday too). Monday Megan has school and Evan doesn't. Tuesday Evan has early release. Oh, and did I mention that I have alternate jury duty Thursday? Means I have to call tomorrow after 4 to see if I need to show up at criminal court at 9:30 Thursday?

This afternoon I have to go to the grocery store and finish laundry so dh has clean clothes for his trip tomorrow and I want to have some of Evan's favorite foods around to make sure he actually eats during finals.

Tonight Megan has swim practice and they will both have homework so it should be fairly quiet. Yeah! I think I covered the Wednesday Ws a day early. :)
