Good morning ladies, its Tuesday! How are you doing today?
Good morning ladies. It will be a pretty quiet day today as my boss and her assistant are both out today. I have a few small things i am working on. I am running out to Old Navy at lunch time, and have lots of paperwork and laundry to do tonight at home.
Have a great day!!
We have late start today due to a district wide teleconference thing so I am going to get another load of laundry in. The kids and DH are getting over their crud but DH decided to work from home today. After school DD has dance and I am going to meet friends for coffee. Dinner tonight is tamales that I need to get out of the freezer before I leave here. Need to start getting Christmas under control, I have 2 packages that need to be shipped and I have been pretty good over the past few years about not waiting til the last minute at least on those. Hopefully it will be a quiet day at work.
We're all dragging today. Last night my left leg went completely numb and we were off to the ER. Turns out I have a sciatic nerve issue. The pain is awful. I feel like an old woman!
I had planned to work on laundry and dishes this morning. Zeph is going to a friend's house this afternoon and DH and I were going to go to a movie, but the movie is out. I can't sit that long. I'm hoping that the Advil will kick in and I will feel like moving. I'm off to facilitate school. DH is taking care of meals today and some housework.
Ugh Heather! I had that type of sciatic nerve issue while pregnant with Madion, NOT pleasant at all.
Hi everyone. It felt like a long work day - started off not feeling well and got worse as the day went on. i made it thru the day and put in for a sub for tomorrow. We had our auction today and I bid on a few small things, guess I'll find out when I return later in the week if I won anything.
Kayleigh had a regular school day and then play rehearsal. Ian had a regular school day.
Dh had a phone interview and is now getting a tetanus shot. I am making soup. After dinner, we'll drop Ian at is scout meeting and the rest of us are going to the school board meeting. It's student recogntion night and Kayleigh is being recognized for winning a local art competition.

Not a lot for me to do today. This morning I made sure the kids knew when to get off to school and Natalie and I made our way to get her an MRI on her foot. I'd hate do this and nothing show up. I will be upset and aggravated if that happens. Her foot is bothering her and sore all the time but thepain level has decreased after wearing this boot for almost a week now. She still limps on it if she doesn't have it on. So things are not perfect with it yet. We see her Orthopedist on Thursday with the results. Got her into school and came home so Tim could get to work. His car is still at the auto shop, not sure what is going on with it. Tim hasn't botthered to fill me in. But we are down to one car and I let him take mine to work. I did some clean up here, Tim cleaned the kitchen all up after dinner last night so I didn't have to do my own birthday dishes this morning like in years past. I very much appreciate that. Some of the kids have homework and some don't. Nothing going on tonight. Just hanging around watching TV or playing video games.
Dinner will be either leftovers or macaroni lasagna.
Went off to church this morning to help out in the food pantry. I've been aggrivated with the family. So tired of cleaning up after people who are more than capable of putting a dish in the dishwasher. And having to take out/put up/ put away boxes of Christmas stuff for a Christmas party that I didn't even want to host this year :P
Well- giving out bags of food/ sorting and helping give out clothing to people who are far less fortunate than I am kind of helps with the "grinch" attitude. The people that work there are quite nice. The woman in charge of it (most of these ladies are 20+ years older than I am) asked me if I was going to come back. And if I liked them :) I told her as long as I don't have a paying job that I have to go to, I'd be back.
Wiped down the cabinets in the kitchen. They at least look better. They're still old (the 20 year old kitchen needs a facelift- something that is NOT going to happen until college tuition is no longer a factor). But now at least there's not dirt all over them so it won't look as bad next Sat.
Laundry. Read some of the book for a book club at the library I'm going to tomorrow.
