Good morning ladies, its Tuesday, how are you today?

Glad your foot is getting better Chelle!
I'm glad you found the cat. I'm sorry she has to be put down.
Hey there. I stayed off my feet as much as possible today. My foot is a lot better, the sprain is a lot better but the side of my foot is still very painful. I can walk better and stay on it longer before it starts hurting again. I managed to vacuum the family room and cleaned up some clutter. I did the dishes as well today. I got the kids up at a good time and all had time to get ready, eat breakfast. It was a good morning. Tim had a late start but it was all fine. He took my car again today. After he got home I ran an errand to the grocery store to get something he needed for dinner and Matthew a poster board. He has a project he's been working on and he needs to finish it up tomorrow to turn in on Thursday. Girls spent the evening drawing and creating things to hang in thier room. Katie had homework to finish up.
Tim made a really good dinner with cabbage and smoked sausage. It was really good.
Hi everyone. It felt like a busy Tuesday at work, but the day went well! After work, I ran a bunch of errands. Now I'm ordering some things with my kohls 20% coupon and then we are going to have taco's for dinner
Kayleigh overslept this morning, her alarm didn't go off so Dh had to drive her to school. Now she is staying late for play rehearsal. Ian had a regular school day and is going to Boy Scouts tonight
I plan to spend the evening having a fire, a glass of wine and writing Christmas cards.
Nothing back on the job either. And it most certainly is NOT helping the situation. SIGH. The guy that interviewed me said he had no idea when I'd hear back. Maybe a week, maybe longer. But I would hear back. I gave them a working email address, and my cell number is the only number I've ever put on a resume.
I have a test to take for a dispatch job with the city next week. I was going back and forth about going there or not, unless I hear back with a yes for this other job, I'm going to take the dispatch test.
At least dh and I have come to a decision that all we are doing Friday is putting her down. No tests, bloodwork etc. The last time it was almost $400! That was kind of stressing me out too, but I think we can go and just say put her down. I kind of feel bad about that one- but I don't think there's anything we could do to help her. I guess if we'd put her on thyroid medicine it would have been better- but I'd heard stories where that did nothing for the animal- or just made them mad (and I don't think this cat would have been happy having to take a pill every single day for the rest of her life).
I just wish Kristen wouldn't stress so much. I think she's happy there. Wants to go back next semester. I do think this school is the best "fit" for her (even though it is kind of expensive).
Good news- we found the cat.
Bad news- we are probably going to be putting her down on Friday :( She's not doing well at all. That is- if she makes it to Friday. I don't know. All she wants to do is hide, so I've set up a warm comfy place in the garage. She was hiding in the wet bathtub.
I'd do it now- it's just that Kristen's not home. And I had to lie to her yesterday and tell her that the cat's fine. Why? Because she'd worry and she's got 3 more days of finals to deal with. And as I said this morning to the ladies at food closet- she puts a heck of a lot of undue pressure on herself. Especially since all I told her we expected from her was a high enough GPA to keep her scholarships. 2.7. She's pushed herself to a 3.5 and says she wants Dean's list.
No activiites tonight.
This is his first year with them so he wasn't sure what to expect. At the company wide meeting they handed identical giftboxes to all and said they all contained a $400 card to Amazon. DH placed a new cell phone case in my cart and told me to use the rest for whatever. I used some of it for gifts today and the rest use for curriculum or gifts as the need arises.
Sorry about the bonus Heather! I guess the only consolation is that you can buy just about anything on Amazon! DH's grandmother gets us a $50 gift card to amazon every christmas. I usually end up spending it on the girls in the end, especially with birthdays in March and April.
